Folders
The iMessenger application provides a set a default folders that
are used to store e-mail messages. In addition to the default
folders, custom folders can also be created.
To select a folder:
1. Tap the drop down list in the upper right corner of the
screen.
2. The following folders are displayed:
䊳 Inbox - Contains new messages downloaded from the
network.
䊳 Outbox - Contains messages that are ready to be sent.
䊳 Deleted - Contains messages that have been deleted.
䊳 Filed - Contains messages that are stored on your phone.
䊳 Draft - Contains messages that are not yet finished or
ready to send.
3. Select the folder to display.
Date Column
The date column is optional and is displayed by default. This
option can be turned off in the preferences. If the date column
is OFF, the amount of screen space is increased.
Messages that are downloaded on the same day display only
the time a message was received. Messages downloaded the
day after they were sent display the date they were received.
To show the date column:
1. In the iMessenger application, tap the Menu Launcher
icon
.
2. Select “Options” and tap “Preferences”.
3. Tap the “Show Date” check box.
4. Tap “OK” to exit.
