The mix of sphagnum peat moss, perlite, vermiculite, dolomitic limestone, and calcitic limestone promotes excellent root growth and water retention. Organic potting soils are recommended for edible crops of herbs, vegetables and fruits. Moisten the mix thoroughly before filling the planters.
