Specialty Appliance Touch Up Paint is a quick dr y
lacquer designed to provide a long-lasting, high gloss finish
on repairs to metal, porcelain, and appliances such as stoves,
refrigerators, washers, dryers, and dishwashers. This washable,
moisture resistant finish is for the exteriors of these surfaces.
Do not use on surfaces exposed to temperatures over 200°F
(93°C) such as stove tops. Not for use in sinks, tubs, or other
water immersed surfaces.
PRODUCT APPLICA TION
PAINTING CONDITIONS
Use when temperature is between 50ºF (10ºC) and 90ºF (32ºC)
and humidity is below 85% to ensure proper drying. Do not
apply to surfaces, when heated, exceed 200ºF (93ºC).
SURFACE PREP ARA TION
Remove all dirt, grease, oil, salt and chemical contaminants
by washing the surface with a commercial detergent, or other
suitable cleaning method. Rinse with fresh water and allo w
to thoroughly dry. Remove loose paint and rust with a wire
brush or sandpaper. Lightly sand glossy surfaces. Removal of
old paint by sanding, scraping or other means may genera te
dust or fumes that contain lead. LEAD IS TOXIC. Contact the

to www .epa.gov/lead.
APPLICATION
Apply Appliance Touch Up using even strokes. For deep
scratches or chips, apply multiple layers allowing 10 minutes
between coats. For best results, allow to dry overnight before
use.
PRODUCT APPLICATION (cont.)
DRY & RECOAT
Dry and recoat times are based on 70ºF and 50% rela tive
humidity. Allow more time at cooler temperatures. Dries to touch
in 10 minutes, to handle in 30 minutes and fully dry in 24 hours.
Allow to dry 10 minutes between coa ts.
CLEAN-UP
Clean up any excess product with lacquer thinner, rubbing alcohol,
or acetone.
