The evolutionary MCA-Series controller, now with built-in

XStream, provides access to your customer’s music collection and

favorite streaming services in every zone. Building on Russound’s

legendary reliability, simplicity, and sound quality, the new multi-

zone controllers now offer faster response time, an array of digital

inputs, quicker conﬁguration, and more great content. The ﬂagship

model of the line is the MCA-88X, which offers all of the features of

the MCA-88 but adds a dedicated XStream streaming media source

to give you the best music from the internet or your own digital music

library. The XStream source can be shared by any of the zones in a

home, or a DMS-3.1 with 3 more XStream sources can be added. The

intuitive MyRussound™ App conveniently controls the entire system

and displays metadata using tablets and phones. In addition, a wide

assortment of keypads, touchscreens, and hand-held remotes ensures

optimum control for any location.

Engineered for ﬂexible conﬁguration and easy integration, the

controllers satisfy any design challenge. The new Russound line of

multi-zone controllers delivers the perfect balance of popular music

content, audio performance, and optimal control.

The MCA-88X features 6 zones of advanced digital amplification, as a paging input and loop output for connection to a 3rd-party providing 40 watts of power per channel. All 8 zones are equipped paging or phone system. with fixed or variable line-level outputs for outboard amplification, With wireless expansion, or subzone use. Additionally, an RS-232 port for integration with serial-connected home automation systems is available for utilization on the rear panel of the MCA-88X.
