SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS When using this machine, follow these safety precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury. WARNING 1. Do not attempt to repair or replace any part of your dehumidifier unless it is specifically recommended in this manual. All other services should be referred to a qualified technician. 2. If the power cord becomes worn or damaged, the cord should only be replaced by a qualified service technician using 3.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS When using this machine, follow these safety precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury. CAUTION 1. To avoid possible cuts, avoid contacting the metal parts of the appliances when removing or re-installing the filter. 2. Do not block the air inlet or outlet of the appliance. Reduced air flow will result in poor performance and can damage the unit. 3. Always grasp the plug when plugging in or unplugging the appliance. Never unplug by pulling on the cord. 4.

Remove caster wheels from the bucket. 2. Tilt the dehumidifier no more than 45 degrees. Do not insert the caster wheels by force, as they should easily slide into position. Make sure the ring around the caster is flush against the bottom of the dehumidifier.
PRODUCT OPERATION Control Panel NOTE: When first operating the dehumidifier, run it in Continuous Mode for 24 hours. 6 1. PRODUCT OPERATION 4. Timer Auto On- To program the unit to automatically turn on, press the “TIMER” button when the unit is off. Press the “TIMER” button again to increase or decrease the timer in 30 minute increments (0.5 hours) up to 10 hours. After 10 hours, each press of the button will increase the timer in 1 hour increments up to 24 hours. Timer Auto Shut-Off- To program the unit to automatically turn off, press the “TIMER” button when the unit is on.
PRODUCT OPERATION 6. Bucket Full- When the bucket is full of water: the unit will automatically shut off, make a beeping noise, and the “Bucket Full” Indicator will light up. The dehumidifier will not function until the water bucket is emptied and replaced back inside the unit. The bucket should be cleaned every few weeks to prevent the growth of mold, mildew, and bacteria. Use a mild detergent to clean the bucket. Once clean, completely dry the bucket and place it back inside the dehumidifier.
PRODUCT OPERATION 8. Child-Lock Mode- To lock the control panel, press and hold the “TIMER” button for 3 seconds. 9. Internal Pump Mode (RDH-270P Only)- The internal pump allows the unit to operate without having to empty the bucket and requires the installation of the included pump drain hose kit. To install the kit, remove the drain cap on the back of the unit. Insert the included gasket into the front of the included pump adapter.
CHOOSING A LOCATION A dehumidifier operating in a basement will have little or no effect in drying out an adjacent enclosed storage area, such as a closet, unless there is adequate circulation of air in and out of the area. • Do not use outdoors. This dehumidifier is intended for indoor use only. Place the dehumidifier on a smooth, level floor surface that is strong enough to support the unit with a full bucket of water. • Allow at least 12”- 18" of air flow on all sides of the unit.
CONTINUOUS MODE SET-UP GARDEN HOSE INSTALLATION Water can be automatically emptied by attaching a hose to the continuous drainage port on the back of the dehumidifier. This will allow the unit to run continuously (depending on the selected humidity level) without having to empty the water bucket. To drain, simply attach a standard garden hose (not included).
MACHINE MAINTENANCE NOTE: Make sure power is off and the power cord is not plugged into an electrical outlet prior to performing any maintenance on the unit. Clean or Replace Filter: Refer to Operating Instructions Clean Filter Section (Page 7). Clean the Unit Housing: 1. Clean the surface with a damp cloth and dry it with a soft towel. Storing the Unit for an Extended Period of Time or Transporting the Unit: 1. Clean or replace the filter. 2. Unplug the unit. 3. Empty any excess water 4.

Mise en/hors fonction- Appuyez une fois sur le bouton "POWER" pour mettre l’appareil en fonction. 2. Sélection de l’humidité- Appuyez sur la touche ˅ ou ˄ pour choisir l’humidité relative de la pièce. Chaque pression du bouton changera le degré d’humidité de 5%.
FONCTIONNEMENT DU PRODUIT 4. Mode de minuterie automatique - Pour programmer la mise en fonction automatique de l’appareil, appuyez sur le bouton “TIMER” lorsque l’appareil est hors fonction. Appuyez de nouveau sur la touche "TIMER" pour augmenter ou diminuer la minuterie par incréments de 30 minutes (0,5 heure) jusqu'à 10 heures. Après 10 heures, chaque pression du bouton augmentera ou diminuera la minuterie en intervalle d’une heure jusqu’à 24 heures.

Contenant plein- Lorsque le contenant d’eau est plein d’eau, l’appareil se mettra automatiquement hors fonction et émettra un bip et le voyant de contenant plein s’allumera. Le déshumidificateur ne fonctionnera pas tant que vous ne viderez pas le contenant d’eau et que vous le replaciez dans l’appareil. Le contenant devrait être nettoyé toutes les quelques semaines afin d’empêcher la croissance de moisissure et de bactéries.
FONCTIONNEMENT DU PRODUIT 8. Mode de verrouillage à l’épreuve des enfants- Pour verrouiller le panneau de contrôle, maintenez le bouton “TIMER” enfoncé pendant 3 secondes. Le verrouillage du panneau de contrôle vous permet d’appuyer accidentellement sur un bouton. Lorsque verrouillé, le voyant “LOCK” s’allumera. Maintenez le bouton “TIMER” enfoncé pendant 3 secondes pour déverrouiller le panneau de contrôle. 9.
CHOISIR UN EMPLACEMENT Un déshumidificateur fonctionnant dans un sous-sol ne pourra assécher un espace adjacent fermé, tel qu’une garde-robe, à moins qu’il y ait suffisamment d’air entrant et sortant de l’espace. • N’utilisez pas cet appareil à l’extérieur. Ce déshumidificateur est conçu pour l’utilisation à l’intérieur. Installez le déshumidificateur sur une surface égale et de niveau suffisamment solide pour supporter l’appareil et un contenant plein d’eau.
CONFIGURATION DU MODE CONTINU INSTALLATION DU BOYAU D’ARROSAGE De l’eau peut être vidée automatiquement en fixant un boyau afin de permettre le drainage continu dans le drain à l’arrière du déshumidificateur. Ceci permet à l’appareil de fonctionner en continu (selon le modèle et le niveau d’humidité sélectionné) sans voir à vider le contenant d’eau. Fixez simplement le boyau d’arrosage (non inclus).
ENTRETIEN DE L’APPAREIL REMARQUE: Assurez-vous que l’appareil est hors fonction et que le cordon d’alimentation n’est pas branché à une prise de courant avant de procéder à l’entretien de votre appareil. Nettoyage et remplacement du filtre: Consultez la section du nettoyage du filtre du guide d’utilisation (Page 23). Nettoyage du boîtier de l’appareil: 1. Nettoyez la surface à l’aide d’un chiffon humide et asséchez-le à l’aide d’une serviette douce.
