R5505 Urethane/Multipurpose Adhesive Remover is a
superior adhesive remover to aid in the removal of adhesive from
flooring surfaces and tools.

Uses: For the removal of fresh and recently cured urethane from
pre-finished (non-wax) wood flooring, and the removal of fresh and
recently cured two-part epoxy, seam sealers (universal carpet and
wood seam sealers by their nature dry to a water and/or chemical
resistance film – they must be removed while they are still fresh) and
SBR (multipurpose, carpet and VCT) adhesives.
General: Unwanted adhesive should always be removed while it is
fresh for best results. The chemical composition of adhesives can vary
greatly. Chemically reactive adhesives gain strength over time and
unless removed in their initial cure phase they will create a chemical
bond to the substance they are on. Test R5505 in an inconspicuous
area prior to use.

Application Instructions: Always test R5505 on a scrap piece of
flooring or in an inconspicuous area prior to using.
Do not allow R5505 to drip between boards and/or flooring.
LIQUID APPLICATION – Wet Spot Removal: 1) Apply R5505 to a clean,
white cloth and rub adhesive lightly to remove. 2) Clean surface with a
suitable floor cleaner and wipe dry. • Dry Spot Removal:
Allow R5505
to saturate adhesive (approx. 1 hour) to soften. For heavy spots, first
remove softened adhesive with a plastic putty knife, then use
melamine pad (cleaning eraser) to remove any remaining residue. For
light spots and fingerprints, use R5505 with a Magic Eraser
®
. Clean
surface with a suitable floor cleaner and wipe dry.
TOWELETTE APPLICATION – Pull corner of towelette from center of
roll, thread through hole in container cover and replace cover. • Wet
Spot Removal: 1) For extreme ease of removal, wipe area of floor that
has adhesive on it until clean. 2) Clean surface with a suitable floor
