Lesson 1 Installing IDE Introduction The Arduino Integrated Development Environment (IDE) is the software sideof the Arduino platform. In this lesson, you will learn how to setup your computer to use Arduino and how to set about the lessons that follow. The Arduino software that you will use to program your Arduino is available for Windows, Mac and Linux. The installation process is different for all three platforms and there is a certain amount of manual work to install the software.
Click JUSTDOWNLOAD. STEP3: Installing Arduino(Windows) Install Arduino with the exe Installation package.
Click Next You can press Browse… to choose an installation path or directly type in the directory youwant.
Click Install to initiate installation Finally, the following interface appears, click Install to finish the installation.
Next, the following icon appears on the desktop Double-click to enter the desired development environment
Lesson 2 Installing the CH340 driver The REXQualis Nano is using the chips ATmega328P and CH340, not FT232 as official Arduino, so please download drive for CH340 from www.rexqualis.com/download In Windows system, you just need to click “ CH341SER_WINDOWS.EXE ”,Then follow the system prompts to install.
Lesson 3 Add Libraries What are Libraries? The Arduino environment can be extended through the use of libraries, just like most programming platforms. Libraries can come from many places, often from hardware manufacturers who supply libraries to allow the Arduino IDE to support their specific hardware. For example, our Infrared Temperature Sensor Module has a matching library available called "IRremote" that you can install in the IDE to make it easy to use the module in your projects.
But,Now libraries are often distributed as a ZIP file or folder. The name of the folder is the name of the library. To Importing a library in a sketch, select it from Sketch > Import Library> Add .ZIP Libraries. Select the library you would like to add.
The system shows add library success.
Check “Include Library” menu to see the library which you had add ,It is ready to be used in your sketch.
Lesson 4 Open Arduino Serial Monitor The Arduino IDE has a feature that can be a great help in debugging sketches or controlling Arduino from your computer's keyboard. The Serial Monitor is a separate pop-up window that acts as a separate terminal that communicates by receiving and sending Serial Data. Connect the Arduino UNO R3 motherboard to the computer via USB,selecting a port for uploading Arduino code. Go to Tools > Port, and select the correct port.
You can alter the baud rate and set the terminal to Autoscroll. Click on the baud rate drop-down menu to select the correct baud rate. Lesson 5 Blinking LED Introduction In this lesson, you will learn how to use the RexQualis Nano controller board by turning on an LED and making it blink once per second.
Hardware Required 1 * RexQualis Nano Principle The Nano board has rows of connectors along both sides that are used to connect to several electronic devices and plug-in 'shields' that extends its capability. It also has a single LED that you can control from your sketches. This LED is built onto the Nano board and is often referred to as the 'L' LED as this is how it is labeled on the board. You may find that your Nano R3 board's 'L' LED already blinks when you connect it to a USB plug.
When the sketch window opens, enlarge it so that you can see the entire sketch in the window.
Attach your Arduino board to your computer with the USB cable and check that the 'Board Type' and 'Serial Port' are set correctly.
Code void setup() { // initialize digital pin LED_BUILTIN as an output.
making the voltage LOW delay(1000); // wait for a second } Wiring diagram Lesson 6 REXQualis Nano FAQ Question 1: I chose “Arduino Nano” as the serial port when using Nano board, Arduino IDE shows: avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 1 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x28 … What should I do? Answer:
Because of the Arduino official updated the IDE's default Nano BootLoader, so your code couldn't be uploaded on IDE 1.8.5 and up. If your Arduino IDE is 1.8.5 and up, you select "Old BootLoader" in the IDE's processor: If your Arduino IDE is 1.8.
port to select under Tools). PC returned a message saying that it could not recognize the USB. Answer: In this case, we recommend you could refer to the following steps: 1) Install the CH340 Driver of REXQualis Nano, you can download the Driver software on our website : www.rexqualis.com/download 2) Restart your computer and try to use different USB cable to connect a different USB port. 3)Reinstall your Arduino IDE and Arduino drivers on our website www.rexqualis.com/download.
