INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR CASING

TOOL REQUIRED:

- Hammer/ Nail gun/ Glue

- Finish nails

- Measurement Tape

CONTENTS

- 2 Legs – 84 inches with 45 degree cut

- Top piece of casing

INSTALLTION STEPS

STEP 1 PREPARE THE AREA:

• Remove any plastic or cardboard packaging from the door casing, ensuring the clean

surface is exposed for installation.

• Check that the door jamb and surrounding area are clean and free from any

obstructions.

STEP 2 MEASURE AND MARK

• Using a measuring tape and pencil, mark a distance of 1/4 inch from the edge of the

door jamb, going from the inside to the outside. Make these marks along the length of

both sides of the door jamb.

STEP 3 ALIGN THE CASING

• Position the top part of the casing above the door jamb, aligning the pre-cut 45-degree

angle with the top of the jamb

• Make sure the casing fits snugly against the jamb, with the angled portion covering the top edge of the jamb. STEP 4 HORIZONTAL ALIGNMENT • • Use horizontal marks on top of the jambs as a guide for placing the casing. This ensures that the casing is level and correctly aligned with the top of the door jamb With the casing in the correct position, use a nail gun or appropriate fasteners to secure it in place.
