ASSEMBLY
Pair off the left and right support assemblies with the
feet facing outward and downward and the flat edges are
toward the rear. Apply glue to the rabbets near the lower
ends of the supports. Position the spacer with the
countersunk holes facing downward. Fit the ends of the
spacer into the rabbets near the lower ends of the
supports so that the front edge of the spacer is flush with
the front edges of the supports. Fasten in place with two
1 1/4" flat-head screws up through each end of the spacer
into the supports.
Now position the mirror assembly with the top facing
upward and the plywood back toward the rear. Screw
one nut insert into the hole in each edge of the mirror
assembly (see Detail).
Position- the support assembly with the rounded ends of
the supports facing forward. Slip one threaded pin
through the hole in each upper end of the support
assembly and screw into the. nut inserts in the mirror
assembly (see Detail).
