SETTING UP YOUR RAZER ATHERIS INSERTING THE BATTERIES 1. Remove the top cover of the Razer Atheris by lifting the back of the cover then pulling it out. 2. Insert the two included AA batteries into the Razer Atheris following the directions indicated on the battery compartment. Caution: The two included AA batteries are non-rechargeable. Dispose of these batteries in accordance with your local environmental laws. For your safety, use only alkaline batteries and do not mix old batteries with new ones. 3.
LOW BATTERY NOTIFICATION The Razer Atheris’ LED indicator will blink red twice in repeated intervals to indicate that the battery level of the inserted batteries are less than 5%*. This lighting sequence will repeat until the batteries are fully drained. Once you receive this notification, it is time to replace the batteries. The indicator percentage can be customized through Razer Synapse Pro. CONNECTING THE RAZER ATHERIS VIA 2.4 GHZ MODE 1.
2. Close the top cover and connect the wireless USB dongle to the USB port of your computer. 3. Push the slider switch of the Razer Atheris to 2.4 GHz mode. The LED indicator will start blinking rapidly. F O R GA M E R S . B Y G AM E R S .
4. Wait until the mouse automatically pairs with the wireless USB dongle. When paired, the LED indicator will change to static blue for 5 seconds before turning off. Keep the pairing devices within close proximity of each other for a faster and more stable connection. Congratulations, your Razer Atheris is now ready to use in 2.4 GHz mode. CONNECTING THE RAZER ATHERIS VIA BLUETOOTH MODE 1. Push the slider switch of the Razer Atheris to Bluetooth mode ( ). F O R G A M E R S . B Y G A M E R S .
2. Press and hold the two side buttons and the DPI cycle button simultaneously for three seconds to activate pairing mode. The LED indicator will blink twice in repeated intervals to show that the device is in pairing mode. 3. Activate Bluetooth on your device and search for new Bluetooth devices. 4. 5. Wait until the mouse automatically pairs with the wireless USB dongle. When paired, the LED indicator will change to static blue for 5 seconds before turning off. Keep the pairing devices within close proximity of each other for faster and more stable connection. Once your device has been paired, your Razer Atheris will automatically reconnect to the device whenever it is in Bluetooth mode and the device is within range. Congratulations, your Razer Atheris is now ready to use in Bluetooth mode.
INSTALLING RAZER SYNAPSE PRO / RAZER SYNAPSE FOR YOUR RAZER ATHERIS Step 1: Make sure your Razer Atheris is connected to your PC or Mac. Step 2: Install Razer Synapse Pro when prompted or download either the Razer Synapse Pro or Razer Synapse installer from razerzone.com/software. SAFETY AND MAINTENANCE SAFETY GUIDELINES In order to achieve maximum safety while using your Razer Atheris, we suggest that you adopt the following guidelines: Avoid looking directly at the tracking beam of your mouse or pointing the beam in anyone else’s eye. Note that the tracking beam is NOT visible to the naked human eye and is set on an AlwaysOn mode.
6. Customize the buttons on your mouse to suit your style of gaming in order to minimize repetitive or awkward motions while gaming. 7. Make sure that your mouse fits comfortably in your hands. 8.
