Apply power to Base Station Base Station 12 V dc Check that the Alarm 'chirps' briefly, as power is applied 2. Ensure Tags are Active Before issuing Tags to crew members, check each Tag to ensure the LED indicator briefly flashes GREEN once every 10 seconds. This indicates that the Tag is ACTIVE. y 06 / 04 /0 6 If a Tag is not active, press and release the pushbutton to activate the Tag.

When an alarm is initiated The Alarm buzzer sounds 0 1 Repeat every 1 s until alarm canceled 2 3 4 seconds On active Tags 6 The indicator flashes RED continuously, half-second flashes every second /0 Optional 12 V output 04 When an alarm condition exists, the Base Station optional, switched output provides 12 V as a switching voltage, for external equipment.

Open the Tag Do NOT open a Tag in wet or dirty conditions 2. Remove spent battery 3. Discard spent battery in accordance with local regulations CR 23 04 /0 6 V 5. Replace the Tag back and snap shut op y 06 / 4. Taking care not to disturb other internal components, insert NEW, lithium, non-rechargeable CR2 3V battery.
