Install Batteries
Slide open the battery door and
insert two AAA batteries (not
supplied) matching the polarity
symbols (+ and –) marked inside.
Battery Notes:
When the sound weakens,
replace the batteries.
Dispose of old batteries promptly and properly. Do not
burn or bury batteries.
Use only fresh batteries of the required size and
recommended type. Do not mix old and new batteries,
dierent types of batteries (alkaline, or rechargeable),
or rechargeable batteries of dierent capacities.
If you do not plan to use your headset for a week
or more, remove the batteries. Batteries can leak
chemicals that can damage electronic parts.

1. Slide POWER OFF/ON to ON to turn on the radio.
The last tuned station plays.
2. Slide AM/FM to select a band.
3. Turn TUNING to nd a station.
4. Adjust the sound controls VOL and BASS BOOST

Listening Safely
Do not wear headphones, earphones, or earbuds while
operating a motor vehicle or riding a bicycle. This can
create a trac hazard and could be illegal in some areas.
To protect your hearing:
Do not listen at extremely high volume levels.
Extended high volume listening can lead to permanent
hearing loss.
Set the volume to its lowest level, then turn on your
audio device and adjust the volume to a comfortable
listening level.
Avoid increasing the volume. Your ears will adapt to the
volume level, so a level that does not cause discomfort
might still damage your hearing.
Caring for your headset
Keep the headset dry. If it gets wet, wipe it dry
immediately.
Handle the headset carefully. Do not drop it.
Use and store the headset only in room temperature
environments.
Keep the headset away from dust and dirt, and wipe it
with a damp cloth occasionally to keep it looking new.
