2. SAFETY 2.1 Style conventions for warnings This manual includes information which you have to observe for your own personal safety as well as to prevent property damage. Information for your own personal safety are highlighted with a warning triangle; information which concerns property damage does not have a warning triangle. Depending on the risk level, the warning notices are displayed in decreasing order.
2.2 General safety instructions The beacon is a wireless device. The beacon must be intended for use for which it was designed. Any other use is considered improper and therefore dangerous. Before you start using the beacon, verify that it is undamaged. • DO NOT use the beacon in potentially explosive atmospheres. The presence of flammable gas or fumes is a serious safety hazard. 2.
3. DISPOSING OF THE DEVICE Do not dispose of the device with the household refuse. Electrical devices and components must always be disposed of separately. Ensure that normal batteries and storage batteries are disposed of in accordance with the statutory regulations in force. WEEE-Reg.No DE 59162004 To dispose of a system which is no longer required or faulty, contact the manufacturer.
