I. INTRODUCTION 1.1 What is hearing loss? .1 CONTRAINDICATION WARNING The device is unsuitable and should not be used in the following situations: • Patients with chronic suppurative otitis media, congenital ear atresia is not allowed to use the unit. • This hearing amplifier can only be used for compensating the patients with hearing impairment, and not for hearing therapeutic purpose. • The hearing amplifier should not be used by infants under 36 months of age. • Open the battery compartment lid.
• Don't use in an oxygen rich environment. • To protect your hearing, avoid listening at high volume levels for long periods of time. Special care must be taken because of high-output type of the amplifier. • Do not lend your hearing amplifier to other persons. Using a hearing amplifier designed for someone else may result in hearing damage. • Monitor any unusual skin reaction. In some instances, wearing a hearing amplifier can cause an allergic reaction leading to itchiness or rashes.
.2 Replacing Battery When the battery is low, sound becomes weaker or you will hear an alert signal. Replace the battery by following these steps: 1. Volume up/down total 6 degrees 2. VII. TROUBLESHOOTING Check the following if the device should fail during operation. PROBLEM SOLUTION • Turn onthe devices • Remove and re-installthe battery No sound or weak sound • Replace the battery • Contact your distributor • Clean or replace the tube or earplug.
