If the dialog displays the right path and language that you want to install, please press YES. Otherwise, you may install the language you want, please reference the previous chapter for detailed information. 5. We recommend you to install “Multi-Cam Surveillance System” in the local PC, which connect to the video camera. “MultiCam Remote View” should be installed in another PC.

Main Panel Add/Remove Camera There are individual windows display in the MultiCam Surveillance System, you can press the "x" icon to remove or use manual bar Camera function->Readd Camera. We recommend removing the camera window if there is no actually connected to the video camera. Hide Camera You can use the "-" icon to hide the camera, it is still functional but will not display the field of vision. Storage/Time left display Display the currently available free disk space for recording video clips.
Lock Camera (Zoom in/Zoom out) You can select any one of the camera to Zoom in or Zoom out, just press the icon between "-" and "x" or press the function key F1 to F6, F1 represent to camera 1. You can press the tool bar icon to zoom in or zoom out, or use the numeric keypad "-", "+". You can press the ESC key to back to the default display status.
Sensitivity A slide bar for selecting the sensitivity of motion detector. Value between 1 and 99 is permitted, higher in value will cause more sensitive when an object moves into the field of vision.
Record Setting [Image Quality] High, Medium and Low options for selecting the quality of image saved in file. High option will get better image quality and create more video data. [Frame Rate] ASAP or User Define. Video input speed to your PC, frame rate change depends on the video device attached. In general, the larger frame-per-second means better persistence of vision, and more smoother for human eyes to see continuous flow of light. The trade-off of higher frame rate is high volume of data acquired.

[Video Format] Choosing Video Format will invoke a video format dialog box provided by the camera/capture device driver. You should choose a format supported by Surveillance System! from this dialog box; such as RGB24. [Video Source] Most capture device drivers will provide a video source dialog box. Within this box, the user can choose the signal format (NTSC, PAL, etc.) and adjust the image characteristics (brightness, contrast, hue, etc).
[Pager/Tel Hot Line Setting] This function is like a phone book. You can predefine at most 6 different telephone/pager numbers associated with Function key from F7 to F12. Once you want to call out for emergency purpose, you can press the function key directly. The system will keep recording until you press the Pause key to stop. E.g. you may set the pager number as 0948001001 with the pager message #911#.
[Schedule] You may define two kinds of schedule, Period or Special. Period schedule can be applied to weekdays, you can define your own surveillance conditions.
Mask Function The Mask feature of Surveillance System allows the user to mask areas in the field of vision of Surveillance System, allowing the user to define the environment that they do not wish to observe. For example, you wish to observe your office but not the moving traffic seen from the office window. You can mask the office window so Surveillance System will not detect and record the traffic. But if there is movement outside the masked area, Surveillance System will start to record.
