Disconnect the plug from the power source before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the tool. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the tool accidentally. Store idle tools out of reach of children and other untrained persons. Tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users. Maintain tools with care. Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained tools, with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control.
Avoid bouncing and snagging the wheel, especially when working corners, sharp edges etc. This can cause loss of control and kick-back. • arsenic and chromium from chemically-treated lumber. The direction of feed with the bit into the material when carving, routing or cutting is very important. Always feed the bit into the material in the same direction as the cutting edge is exiting from the material (which is the same direction as the chips are thrown).
Note: Only operate the GG 12 with the voltage supply unit provided or other PROXXON voltage supply units (NG 2/E or NG 5/E).
