6. 6307 MIN L-ISA DESIGN-IN CARD The Angel AN2 Mini-IS GEM Module Is an ingratiation basdware/software package that allows developers to easily incorporate sophisticated wireless LAN networking capabilities into their products. H is especially well suited for integration into, portable computer platforms for mobile tads postilions. The Lagrangian Mini-SEA OEM Module includes » 2.4 GHz frequency hopping spread spectrum radio ad network controller in compact single-piece package optimized fox 6.
specified using an even address value (SAC = 0). More denial information of these registers kre described in Section 124. The module supports both normal writes and read accesses. Each type of access is described in the following tachographs.
OUTPUT SIGNALS Pn ¥ Pin Name Description 23 CD LED This active bi output status signal is used to indicate that the module is receiving & Angel AN signal. ‘This signal can be used to drive an external LED. as compatible. Tt is active low and is sm inverted pulse approximately ms in duration. Tt is used to interrupt the host computer when the module requires servicing. 14 CHIROPODY# This active low signal is used 10 lengthen an IO READ# or JO WRITE# signal when the module can not respond quickly enough.
63.2 Interrupts and VO Ports The drivers for the Mini-IS OEM modules supports ihe following ISA Bus specification interrelates. (IRIS, IRON, IRIS, IRAQ, IRAQI, RQ12 and IRIS. A single interrupt output signal is provided by the OEM module, and must be connected fo the corresponding interrupt line on the platform's interface bus. For example; the default interrupt for. the standard Mini-IS driver i$ SWIRLS.
65.1 Host Write Operation to Mini-IS Module This operation occurs when the Bose needs to write either an 8-bit or 16-bit data word to the Mini-IS OEM module to one of it’s 8 registers. The process is detailed below and shown in Figure 6-2 for 16-bit transfers and Figure 6-3 for 8-bit transfers. Signals controlled by the host arc designation with a (i), while (M) denotes module signals. The host applies the OEM JO register select dress bits along with the Chip Select CS¥ to the OEM module.
