1. It is the responsibility of the owner to ensure
that all users of the exercise system are
adequately informed of all precautions.
2. Before beginning any exercise program,
consult your physician. This is especially
important for persons over the age of 35 or
persons with pre-existing health problems.
3. The exercise system is not intended for use
by persons with reduced physical, sensory,
or mental capabilities or lack of experi-
ence and knowledge, unless they are given
supervision or instruction about use of the
exercise system by someone responsible for
their safety.
4. Use the exercise system only as described in
this manual and as shown on the accompa-
nying exercise chart.
5. The exercise system is intended for home
use only. Do not use the exercise system in a
commercial, rental, or institutional setting.
6. Keep the exercise system indoors, away from
moisture and dust. Do not put the exercise
system in a garage or covered patio, or near
water.
7. Use the exercise system on a level surface.
Make sure that there is adequate clearance
around and above the exercise system for
the exercises that you will do. Cover the floor
beneath the exercise system to protect the
floor.
8. Make sure that all parts are properly tight-
ened each time the exercise system is used.
Replace any worn parts immediately.
9. Keep children under age 13 and pets away
from the exercise system at all times.
10. The exercise system is designed to support
a maximum user weight of 300 lbs. (136 kg).
Never allow more than one person on the
exercise system at a time.
11. Always wear athletic shoes for foot protec-
tion while exercising.
12. While adjusting the resistance or the height
of the press arm, always hold the press arm;
the press arm can fall with great force (see
page 9 and page 10).
13. If the platform is lifted before you step on it,
readjust the resistance or the height of the
press arm. Do not step on the raised platform.
14. Before beginning any exercise, make sure
that the selector pin and the link arm pin are
fully inserted into holes in the selector plate
(see page 9 and page 10).
15. Never release the press arm or push the
press arm past the vertical position while
exercising.
16. Over exercising may result in serious injury
or death. If you feel faint, if you become short
of breath, or if you experience pain while
exercising, stop immediately and cool down.
