Along with the rest of the electronics industry, PowerA is transitioning to updated USB
technologies where possible.
The follow is a list of wired Nintendo Switch controllers and their associated cable (as of Jan
2021):

Does the Nintendo Switch Wired Controller work with PC?
The Switch Wired Controllers are designed specifically to work with the Nintendo Switch
console. While the controller may connect to the PC, there may be compatibility issues that
occur preventing the user from receiving the full functionality of the controller. As such, we do
not recommend that this controller be used for anything outside of the Switch Console.

Basic Usage:
1. Connect multiple wired controllers to the Nintendo Switch Console at a time. On-screen
notifications will indicate which USB channel each controller is connected to.
Why don’t I feel any vibration when using this controller?
This product does not support vibration functionality.

1. Confirm that the USB Cable is securely connected to the Wired Controller and the
Nintendo Switch Dock.
2. Confirm that the Nintendo Switch is powered on and connected to an external display
before connecting your wired controller.
3. Confirm that your Nintendo Switch has the latest System Update installed.
How do I set up my Nintendo Switch Wired Controller?
1. Make sure your Nintendo Switch System is powered on and connected to your TV.
2. Insert the USB cable into a USB port on the Nintendo Switch Dock. Connect the other
end of the cable to the wired controller. Your wired controller is now ready for use.
