THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING POLSEN. The Polsen MO-PL1 is an omnidirectional lavalier microphone that delivers high-quality audio for mobile devices. The MO-PL1 is sensitivity optimized for iPhone®, iPad®, and iPod touch® devices providing proper signal levels, resulting in a significant improvement in the audio quality of your recordings. It is also impedance matched to ensure compatibility. The MO-PL1 enables the voice to be “up front” even when recording video from a distance.

INSTRUCTIONS Recording 1. Plug the TRRS mini plug of the MO-PL1 into the 3.5 mm jack of your device. 2. Place the foam windscreen over the microphone and insert the microphone down into the clip until it fits snuggly. 3. The tie clip can be fastened to a lapel, collar, or to the inside of a garment. Position the clip so that the microphone is approximately 6-8 inches from the sound source. 4. You are now ready to record.
Before recording a complete take, it is always advisable to do a test recording first, and listen to the playback. If the voice is too low, increase the mic gain in the app settings. If there is no mic gain control in the app, move the mic closer to the source. If the voice is too loud or is distorting during playback, decrease the mic gain. If there is no mic gain control in the app, move the microphone further away from the source.
