Let's move to the second step -
installing the Phyn device.
Your device is now online.

We recommend installing your Phyn device
under your kitchen sink or under any sink with
hot and cold lines and an outlet not controlled
by a switch.
You can unplug your Phyn device for these
steps. Don’t worry, you won’t lose your
network preferences.

Turn o water under your sink using the angle
stops for both the hot and cold lines.

Turn on the hot and cold water at the faucet
until water stops flowing. If you have a single
handle faucet, turn the temperature to half-
hot, half-cold.

Unthread the hose connection and
catch any remaining water in a cup
or bucket.

Clean o any pipe tape or sealant
and repeat on the other side.

Connect each sensor to the pipe.

Tighten once or twice with your
wrench, making sure not to
overtighten.

Turn the angle stops back on.

Let the water run at the faucet until
there is no more air in the line.
While the faucet is running, check for
leaks at the angle stop with a paper
towel. If it is leaking, turn the angle
stops o again and reconnect the
sensors.
Prefer to Mount on Right Side?
Find a place on your left cabinet wall where
you can reach the reset button on the top of
the device and where all the cords will reach.

Remove the device cover.

Unscrew the mounting bracket and
place on other side.
Make sure the Phyn logo is facing up
and the cables are at the bottom.
Remove the cover from the device and mark
the mount location through the mounting
bracket holes.

Prefer to Use 3M Adhesive Tape?
Drill pilot holes and then screw the device into
the cabinet wall. Snap the cover back on.

Make sure the wall where you want to attach
the device is clean and dry. The tape will only
stick once, so make sure to align the device
before sticking to the wall.

Plug in Device and Sensors

Connect the sensors back to the
device.

Plug the device into the outlet.
Secure cables using mounting clips.
Make sure you are not using water anywhere
in the house and turn on hot water from the
sink where your device is installed.
