How Our System Works FETTER for By now you've heard about underground fence systems, but you may not know how they work. It's really quite simple: A small wire, approved for underground burial, is ran around the perimeter of your yard (usually buried just beneath the surface). This wire is connected to a small control unit (the transmitter’, which sends a radio signal through the buried wire. Your pet wears a special computerized receiver collar.
The Transmitter Your transmitter comes complete with these standard features: Built-in Lightning Protection w/ZappAlert™ Traditionally, lightning has been one of the most common causes of transmitter failure. This is why PET STOP has developed built-in surge and over-voltage protection for both the electrical outlet and any high voltage carried by the buried wire in your yard. In addition to this, we have added a feature that will give you an audio-visual indication if lightning damage is done to your unit.

The Receiver The PET STOP receiver is the most technologically advanced receiver on the market today. SmartReceiver® This part of the system, the receiver collar, provides safety and convenience for both you and your pet. These features allow your pet to go anywhere within the boundary you determine, without worrying about receiving a training pulse due to Radio Frequency (RE) interference generated by electrical appliances.
The Receiver Attaching The Receiver Tn order to attach the receiver to the collar provided with your PET STOP system, place the collar holes over the receiver inserts. The receiver case should be on the outside of the collar. Next, install the plastic washers with the flat side toward the probes. Then, attach the probes by screwing them snugly (preferably by hand) into the receiver inserts. CAREFUL NOT TO OVER-TIGHTEN THE PROBES. THEY CAN BREAK.
The Receiver BATTERY POLARITY BAT This is the indicator which alerts the owner that the battery is low and needs to be replaced. The indicator will flash approximately 5 days before it expires. Training Tips Now that your PET STOP Underground Fence System has been installed and is operational, it is time to train your pet to the system. Training Your Pet Walking Your Dog Off Property It is important that a consistent routine is established and maintained when walking your pet off the property.
