Ce guide vous permettra de prendre en main rapi-
dement le Parrot Rolling Spider. Vous trouverez plus

Charger la batterie
1. Insérez la batterie dans l’emplacement prévu à
cet eet (schéma 1).
2. Connectez le Parrot Rolling Spider à un chargeur
USB ou à votre ordinateur en utilisant le câble
USB / micro-USB fourni. Le temps de charge-
ment de la batterie est d’environ 1h30.
Note : Pour retirer la batterie, soulevez la pièce noire
située au-dessus de celle-ci (schéma 1’).
Installer les roues
Les roues du Parrot Rolling Spider permettent de
le protéger en cas de collision avec un autre ob-
jet. Elles permettent également de faire rouler le
Parrot Rolling Spider sur un sol, un mur ou un pla-
fond. Nous vous recommandons de les installer sys-
tématiquement sur le Parrot Rolling Spider lorsque
vous eectuez un vol en intérieur. Pour cela:
1. Insérez l’axe central au centre de chacune des
roues (schéma 2).
2. Insérez l’axe dans l’emplacement prévu à cet
eet, au centre de la partie supérieure du Parrot
Rolling Spider.
3. Clipsez les roues sur le Parrot Rolling Spider en
abaissant le levier de verrouillage (schéma 3).
Pour retirer les roues, poussez le levier de
verrouillage vers la droite.
Connecter un smartphone
Note : Pour utiliser le Parrot Rolling Spider, vous devez
disposer d’un smartphone ou d’une tablette supportant
le Bluetooth® 4.0.
1. Insérez la batterie dans l’emplacement prévu à
cet eet.
2. Posez le Parrot Rolling Spider sur le sol et
patientez jusqu’à ce que les voyants deviennent
verts.
3. Activez la fonction Bluetooth sur votre
smartphone.
4. Lancez l’application FreeFlight 3. La connexion
s’établit automatiquement entre le smartphone
et le Parrot Rolling Spider.
5. Appuyez sur VOL LIBRE pour piloter le Parrot
Rolling Spider.

Les hélices du Parrot Rolling Spider en vol peuvent
causer des dommages à des personnes ou à des ob-
jets. Ne touchez pas le Parrot Rolling Spider en vol.
Patientez jusqu’à l’arrêt total des hélices avant de
manipuler le Parrot Rolling Spider.
Utilisez uniquement les accessoires spécifiés par le
constructeur.
Si du sable ou de la poussière pénètre dans le Par-
rot Rolling Spider, celui-ci peut ne plus fonctionner
correctement, de manière irréversible. N’utilisez pas
le Parrot Rolling Spider dans des conditions météo-
rologiques défavorables (pluie, vent fort, neige) ou
lorsque les conditions de visibilité sont insusantes
(nuit).
Maintenez le Parrot Rolling Spider à l’écart de lignes
de haute tension, arbres, bâtiments ou toute autre
zone potentiellement dangereuse.
N’utilisez pas cet appareil à proximité de substances
liquides. Ne posez pas le Parrot Rolling Spider sur
l’eau ou sur une surface humide. Cela pourrait causer
des dommages irréversibles.
Evitez de faire subir au Parrot Rolling Spider des
changements d’altitude trop importants.
Ne laissez pas le Parrot Rolling Spider au soleil.
Risque d’ingestion de petits éléments. Les embal-
lages ne font pas partie du produit et doivent être
jetés par mesure de sécurité.
Garantie
Sans préjudice de l’application de la garantie légale,
Parrot garantit contractuellement le Parrot Rolling
Spider contre tous défauts de matériaux et de fabri-
cation pendant une durée de 12 mois à compter de
la date d’achat initial eectué par le consommateur
(sauf pièces d’usure garanties 6 mois, sur présenta-
tion de la preuve d’achat (facture, ticket de caisse)
au revendeur.

Comment recycler ce produit
Le symbole sur le produit ou sa documenta-
tion indique qu’il ne doit pas être éliminé en fin
de vie avec les autres déchets ménagers. L’éli-
mination incontrôlée des déchets pouvant
porter préjudice à l’environnement ou à la santé hu-
maine, veuillez le séparer des autres types de dé-
chets et le recycler de façon responsable. Vous favo-
riserez ainsi la réutilisation durable des ressources
matérielles. Les particuliers sont invités à contacter
le distributeur leur ayant vendu le produit ou à se
renseigner auprès de leur mairie pour savoir où et
comment ils peuvent se débarrasser de ce produit
afin qu’il soit recyclé en respectant l’environnement.
Les entreprises sont invitées à contacter leurs four-
nisseurs et à consulter les conditions de leur contrat
de vente. Ce produit ne doit pas être éliminé avec les
autres déchets commerciaux.

est en conformité avec les normes techniques, EN
301489-17, EN300328, EN71-1, EN71-2, EN71-3,
EN62115 suivant les dispositions de la directive
R&TTE 1999/5/CE et la directive de sécurité générale
de produits 2001/95/CE . L’utilisation de ce dispositif
est autorisée seulement aux conditions suivantes :
1) il ne doit pas produire de brouillage et 2) l’utili-
sateur du dispositif doit être prêt à accepter tout
brouillage radioélectrique, même si ce brouillage est
susceptible de compromettre le fonctionnement du
dispositif. Cet appareil numérique de la classe B est

Batterie
Lisez entièrement la feuille d’instructions accompa-
gnant cette batterie. Le non respect de l’ensemble
des instructions peut entrainer des dommages per-
manents pour la batterie et son environnement, et
provoquer des blessures. Ne jamais rien utiliser à
l’exception d’un chargeur approuvé LiPo. Toujours
utiliser un chargeur à équilibrage de cellules LiPo ou
un équilibreur de cellules LiPo. Ne jamais charger via
un fil de décharge. Ne jamais eectuer de charge-
ment à régime lent, ou en dessous de 2,5 V par cel-
lule. La température de la batterie ne doit jamais ex-
céder les 60 °C (140 °F). Ne jamais désassembler ou
modifier le câblage du boîtier, ou percer les cellules.
Ne jamais placer sur des matériaux combustibles
ou laisser sans surveillance pendant le chargement.
Toujours charger dans un endroit à l’épreuve du feu.
Toujours s’assurer que la tension de sortie du char-
geur corresponde à la tension de la batterie. Tou-
jours tenir hors de portée des enfants. Une mauvaise
utilisation de la batterie peut provoquer des incen-
dies, des explosions ou d’autres dangers.
Les bornes de la batterie ne doivent pas
être mises en court-circuit. Le produit doit
uniquement être connecté au matériel de
classe II portant le symbole ci-contre.

Précautions d’utilisation et Entretien
Le Parrot Rolling Spider ne convient pas aux enfants
de moins de 14 ans.
Le Parrot Rolling Spider est un aéromodèle conçu à
des fins récréatives et de loisirs. Le pilote doit, à tout
instant, conserver un contact visuel avec le Parrot
Rolling Spider et contrôler sa trajectoire. Le Parrot
Rolling Spider doit être utilisé conformément aux
règles de l’aviation civile de chaque pays dans lequel
il est utilisé, et dans des lieux adaptés à son évolution
choisis pour assurer en permanence la sécurité des
personnes, des animaux et des biens. L’utilisation du
Parrot Rolling Spider dans certains lieux du domaine
public (par ex : gare, aéroports…..) ou sur la voie pu-
blique peut ne pas être autorisée. Assurez-vous que
l’utilisation du Parrot Rolling Spider est autorisée
dans le lieu où vous vous trouvez.

Downloading the application
Connect to the App Store

or Google Play

and
download the FreeFlight 3 app free of charge.
Charging the battery
1. Insert the battery into the appropriate
compartment.
2. Connect the Parrot Rolling Spider to a USB
charger or to your computer using the USB/mi-
cro-USB cable provided. The charging time for
the battery is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.
Note : To remove the battery, lift the black part located
above it (diagram 1’).
Attaching the wheels
The wheels protect the Parrot Rolling Spider in the
event of collision with another object. They also
allow it to move easily over floor, walls and ceiling.
We recommend that you get in the habit of attaching
the Parrot Rolling Spider wheels every time you fly it
inside. To attach the wheels:
1. Place the central axle through the middle of each
wheel.
2. Place the axle in the appropriate space in the
centre of the upper section of the Parrot Rolling
Spider.
3. Clip on the wheels by pulling down the release
lever.
To remove the wheels, with the unit facing towards
you, shift the release lever to the right.
Connecting a smartphone
Note : You need a smartphone or a tablet which sup-
ports Bluetooth® 4.0 to be able to use the Parrot Rolling
Spider.
1. Insert the battery into the appropriate
compartment.
2. Place the Parrot Rolling Spider on the floor and
wait for the lights to turn green.
3. Activate the Bluetooth function on your smart-
phone.
4. Launch the FreeFlight 3 app. The Parrot Rolling
Spider will connect automatically to your smart-
phone.
5. Press FREE FLIGHT to fly the Parrot Rolling
Spider.

Do not use spare parts and accessories other than
those specified by Parrot.
The Parrot Rolling Spider may be irreversibly da-
maged if you allow sand or dust to penetrate it.
Keep the Parrot Rolling Spider away from high vol-
tage power lines, trees, buildings and any other po-
tentially dangerous or hazardous areas.
Do not use the Parrot Rolling Spider in wet condi-
tions. Do not land the Parrot Rolling Spider on water
or on a wet surface. This could result in irreversible
damages.
Avoid subjecting the Rolling Spider to aggressive al-
titude changes.
Do not leave the Parrot Rolling Spider in direct sun-
light for long periods.
Use the Parrot Rolling Spider in respect of people ‘s
privacy. Do not record and/or circulate any person ‘s
picture without their consent.
Small parts may be swallowed. All materials for faste-
ning or packing purposes are not part of the product
and should be discarded for children’s safety.
Warranty
Without prejudice to any applicable statutory war-
ranty, Parrot warrants that the Parrot Rolling Spi-
der will be free from defects in material and work-
manship for a period of 12-months from the initial
date of purchase (excluding consumables which are
warranted during 6 months from the initial date of
purchase) upon presentation of proof of purchase
to the retailer (including the date and place of pur-
chase, product serial number).

Disposal of this product at the end of its life
At the end of this product’s life, please do not
dispose of this product in your general
household waste. Instead, in order to prevent
possible harm to the environment or human
health from uncontrolled waste disposal, please dis-
pose of this product separately in accordance with
your local laws and regulation. For more information
on the separate collection systems for waste electri-
cal and electronic equipment that are available for
consumers, near your home, free of charge, please
contact your local municipality authority. You can
also contact the retailer from which you purchased
your Parrot Rolling Spider – he might have put in
place recycling services or he may be part of a speci-
fic recycling scheme.

Battery
Read the entire instruction sheet included with this
battery. Failure to follow all instructions could cause
permanent damage to the battery and its surroun-
dings, and cause bodily harm. Never use anything
except a LiPo approved charger. Always use a LiPo
cell balancing charger or a LiPo cell balancer. Never
charge through the discharge lead. Never trickle
charge, or allow to discharge below 2.5V per cell. Ne-
ver allow the battery temperature to exceed 140°F
(60°C). Never disassemble or modify pack wiring in
any way or puncture cells. Never place on combus-
tible materials or leave unattended during charge.
Always charge in a fireproof location. Always set
charger’s output volts to match battery volts. Always
keep out of reach of children. Improper battery use
may result in a fire, explosion or other hazard.
The battery terminals should not be al-
lowed to short-circuit. The product should
be connected only to class II appliances
which display the symbol.

pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules / with Industry
Canada Licence-exempt RSS standard(s). These li-

Accessories and spare parts
Accessories and spare parts are available from your
Parrot retailer or from our website www.parrot.com.
Safety precautions and maintenance
The Parrot Rolling Spider is not suitable for use by
children under 14 years of age.
The Parrot Rolling Spider is a model aircraft designed
only for recreation, entertainment, and competitions
between model aircraft. The pilot must directly
control the flight path of his or her Parrot Rolling
Spider at all times in order to avoid any obstacles,
and must take care only to use it in suitable locations
chosen to ensure that people, animals and property
remain safe at all times.
The use of the Parrot Rolling Spider in some public
areas (for instance train stations, trains, airports,
aircrafts, etc.) may be prohibited. You should check
whether the use of the Parrot Rolling Spider is per-
mitted before using it in public areas or public trans-
port.
To fly the Parrot Rolling Spider indoors install the
wheels in order to protect the Parrot Rolling Spider in
case of collision with any object. When rotating, the
propellers of the Parrot Rolling Spider could cause
injury to people, animals and property.
You should not touch the Parrot Rolling Spider when
propellers are rotating and should wait until the pro-
