Check that the tape's erasure prevention tabs (see page 57) are
intact, and then insert the cassette into deck 2.
The leader tape must be wound on beforehand. (See page 31 .)

When the CCRT function is activated, the
test signal for adjustment will be re-
corded on the tape, so the previous re-
cording will be automatically erased•
You can record without using the CCRT
function.
