The USB connector inside the USB connector cover is for maintenance only and cannot be used for battery charging. 6 Microphone boom Rotate and adjust this to a position near your mouth. Major operating controls and their functions < Talk button [T] This button controls communications with the customer. This button’s operation differs depending on the settings of this product. For further details, refer to “Talk button setting” (page 36). When you press the [T] button once, you can talk with a customer at the order post of the connected lane. Press the button again to end the call.

Operating procedures Prior to operating this product, confirm that the system setup for this product, Center Module, order post, and other devices has been completed. wwTurning on the power 1 Insert the battery in this product and then rotate the microphone boom to turn on the power.
Operating procedures wwVolume adjustment Select a proper sound level by pressing the [VOL] button. [VOL] button The volume level is adjustable to any of 5 levels. wwCommunications with customers (TALK) Any store personnel wearing the headset can communicate bidirectionally with any customer who is at the order post. pp You will hear a beep in this product when a vehicle arrives at the order post. Operating procedures wwCommunications with other store personnel (PAGE) Store personnel wearing headsets can communicate with each other. The sound cannot be heard at the order post. When the Page-Lock mode is preset 1 Press the [P] button. 2 Press the [P] button again. ●● A beep is heard from the earphone to confirm that communication has been established. In this state, you can talk with a store personnel by speaking into the microphone of this product.
wwAlert notification When the Center Module is WX‑CC411, WX‑CC411A, WX‑CC412 or WX‑CC412A, store personnel wearing the headset can send a security alert to the Center Module. 1 ●● A beep is heard from the earphone, indicating that the transmission is complete, and a security alert is sent to the Center Module. When the Center Module receives a security alert, it is possible to perform a preset operation (TALK & PAGE Recording, Send E-Mail, alert message playback, Camera Monitoring, etc.).
Operating procedures wwDual lane operation In dual lane operation, this product must select a lane for communication. Switching to Lane B When a connection is made to Lane A, the lane indicator is lit in orange. 1 Double-click the [S] button. ●● A voice of “Lane B” is heard from the earphone and the lane indicator is lit in green. The connection is changed to Lane B. Switching to Lane A When a connection is made to Lane B, the lane indicator is lit in green. 1 Double-click the [S] button.
wwCommunication limitations Up to 4 units of the headset can be used per lane. If a 5th or subsequent unit tries to Talk or Page, a beep and the voice message “Cannot Connect” are heard from the earphone, and the communication is rejected. However, Talk or Page communication can also be heard by units for which communication is rejected.
Operating procedures wwCharging Use the supplied charging attachment to charge the battery with the battery charger. The charging time is approximately 3 hours (when charged from empty to full). For details on the indicator during charging, refer to the operating instructions for the battery charger. When the charging attachment (accessory) is attached to the battery charger as shown in the figure below, insert the battery while matching the terminals.
Setting the unit wwID registration Before using this product, the unit ID must be registered in the Center Module. After the ID is registered in the Center Module, wireless communication between this product and the Center Module is enabled. 1 Set the Center Module to “ID Registration” mode. Refer to the operating instructions of the Center Module. Rotate the microphone boom to turn off the power of this product.
Setting the unit Note pp If ID registration fails, a beep and the voice message “Failed” are heard from the earphone, and the power indicator blinks red. If that happens, retry from step 2. 5 When the ID registration is complete, cancel “ID Registration” mode of the Center Module. ●● When this is done, “ID Registration” of this product is cancelled and the power indicator turns green. Note pp Communication between headsets is not possible while the Center Module is in “ID registration” mode.
wwManager mode The manager can interrupt store personnel’s TALK or PAGE at any time by monopolizing one channel by priority. Note pp Only 1 unit of the headset can be set to manager mode. Setting the unit 4 If manager mode setting is successful, you can hear “Manager” and the power indicator blinks green. ●● If there is a problem setting the manager mode settings, a beep and the voice message “Failed” are heard from the earphone, and the power indicator blinks red to alert the user the abnormal state. If that happens, retry from step 1. Note pp Only 1 unit of the headset can be set to manager mode per lane.
wwCanceling the manager mode 1 2 Rotate the microphone boom of this product you set to manager mode to turn off the power. Setting the unit wwAuto-Talk-Lock setup For a headset where Auto-Talk-Lock is set up, it has a function to select “TALK” automatically when the vehicle detector has become active, and you can talk with the customer at the order post. One unit of the headset can be set to Auto-Talk-Lock setup per lane. Note pp Complete ID Registration, to do this setting. 1 2 Rotate the microphone boom to turn off the power of this product.
3 Press a communication button ([T] or [P] button) within the 3 seconds that the power indicator turns red and green alternately. Setting Auto-Talk-Lock for Lane B ●● When the [P] button is pressed, the Auto-Talk-Lock setting is set for Lane B. The lane indicator blinks green and “Connecting Center Module B” can be heard from the earphone. When registration is complete, the voice message “Auto Talk Lock ON” is heard from the earphone, and the power indicator stops turning alternately.
Setting the unit wwCenter Module search The product searches for an accessible Center Module from among the Center Modules on which the product’s ID is registered. When an accessible Center Module is found, this product is connected to that Center Module. pp To use this function, it is necessary to register the ID in multiple Center Modules in advance. pp This setting is enabled when the Center Module model selection setting is set to WX-CC411, WX-CC411A, WX-CC412 or WX-CC412A.
wwDeletion of ID When the Center Module is WX-C3010, delete the ID of this product according to the following procedure. pp This setting is enabled when the Center Module model selection setting is set to WX-C3010. When WX-CC411, WX-CC411A, WX-CC412 or WX-CC412A is set, there is no need to delete the ID manually. Delete the ID on the Center Module. 2 Rotate the microphone boom to turn off the power of this product.
Setting the unit wwSetting mode You can set the operation settings of this product. The settings can be set in the setting mode. Voice prompt setting A voice prompt is the voice information notifying you of the state of this product that you can hear from the earphone.

This function detects the motion of this product to automatically turn communication off if this product is left unattended during communication (Talk or Page). Setting Description Pressing the [T] button ON Ends communication if this product is not moved for 10 minutes during communication (Talk/Page). Pressing the [P] button OFF* Communication (Talk/Page) is not ended automatically.
Setting the unit wwHeadset Microphone Gain (8 blinks) Sets the microphone volume during communication (Talk or Page). Operation Setting Description Pressing the [T] button +6dB Raises the microphone volume of the headset by 6 dB from the volume at the time of shipment. Pressing the [P] button OFF* Sets the microphone volume of the headset to the volume at the time of shipment. * indicates the default setting. wwTalkback (9 blinks) Sets the talkback operation.

Si un cinquième appareil ou un appareil subséquent tente de parler à un client ou de communiquer avec un membre du personnel, une tonalité et le message vocal “Connexion impossible” sont entendus par l’écouteur et l’accès est refusé. Par contre, les communications peuvent également être entendues par des appareils pour lesquels la communication est refusée.
wwChargement Utiliser l’accessoire de chargement fourni pour charger la pile avec le chargeur de pile. Le temps de charge est d’environ 3 heures (d’une pile vide à une pile pleine). Pour plus de détails sur l’indicateur pendant la charge, se référer aux instructions d’utilisation du chargeur de pile. Lorsque l’accessoire de chargement (accessoire) est fixé au chargeur de pile comme illustré dans la figure ci-dessous, insérer la pile en alignant les bornes.

wwConfiguration de la fonction de verrouillage automatique pour parler Pour un casque d’écoute où la fonction de verrouillage automatique pour parler est configurée, il a une fonction pour sélectionner “VOIX” automatiquement quand le détecteur de véhicule est devenu actif, et si l’on parle avec le client à la borne de commande. La fonction de verrouillage automatique pour parler peut seulement être configurée sur un appareil de ce casque d’écoute par passage.
Configuration de l’appareil 3 Appuyer sur un bouton de communication (bouton [T] ou [P]) pendant que l’indicateur d’alimentation s’allume alternativement en rouge et en vert pendant 3 secondes.
