○ ○ Under Stand-Alone mode, and if connecting the Kapture lock to a Kapture Link, the lock will be capable of providing the remote control management. Not only the real-time events can pop-up on the Kapture app but also an alert notification will receive immediately on the app. Both master and family can remotely access the lock. Voice assistant: You can access a registered lock through Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. Common Functions ➔ Users can access the lock via the physical kay or keypad.
Keypad Programming Mode Requires: None Key Features : ➔ Keypad Programming Mode is the default operating mode. ➔ This mode allows users to use the keypad, setting the lock with a Master code. (See Keypad Programming Commands). Stand-Alone Mode Requires : ● A Smart Phone With Bluetooth Capability (iOS, Android Supported) and internet access. ● Install the Kapture app and register a Kapture Cloud account. Link Mode Requires : ● A Smart Phone With Bluetooth Capability (iOS, Android Supported) and internet access. ● Install the Kapture app and register a Kapture Cloud account. ● A Kapture LINK ● A Wifi AP Key Features : ➔ Setting via a button, easy to install and remove. ➔ Each link can pair to a Kapture lock. After pairing the Link to the lock via the Kapture app, it will upgrades the lock from Stand-Alone Mode to Link Mode. ➔ All the functions in Stand-Alone Mode are equipped. ➔ Equipped with Bluetooth 5.
● ● ● The latch extends first when reconnecting the batteries with the lock unlocked. In Stand-Alone Mode : ○ After battery change, you need to access the lock via the Kapture app to restart the audit trail. ○ A battery change will be recorded in the audit trail. In Link Mode : ○ After battery change, you need to access the lock via the Kapture app to restart the audit trail. ○ A battery change will be recorded in the audit trail.
● ● ● ● ● ● Short press the privacy button, and there are two statuses that can tell out from the lit led. ○ Red LED flash x 2 - Privacy mode on ○ Green LED flash x 2 - Privacy mode off Long press the privacy button for 5 seconds, and there are two statuses that can tell out from the lit led. ○ Red LED flash x 2 + Beep x 2 tells the Privacy Mod is activated. ○ Green LED flash x 2 + Beep x 2 tells the Privacy Mode is closed. The Privacy Mode will be closed if the lock is opened via ways or re-power on.

The lock exit the setting mode when the settings have changed. Auto-lock is suspended In the Keypad Programming mode, and it will restart when quitting the mode.
● In Link Mode : ○ An audit trail remains. ○ A real-time alert will be sent to the Owner’s and Family’s app. Lock Out ● ● ● ● ● When locking out, the keypad panel is out of function and the Led keeps flashing slowly every 5 seconds. No the other functions to the lock will be affected. A lockout will be removed when successfully access the lock by any method. Three-stage of the lockout: ○ Stage 1: Three failed attempts lead to 3 minutes lockout.
○ ○ ○ ○ The latch does not extend thoroughly when user access via the keypad code or the app. ■ Exterior Led beeps and flashes in red three times. ■ The app shows the lock jammed icon. ■ An alert is sent. ● ● ● A lock can be paired to a Kapture Cloud account. And the account will be the Owner to the lock. To change the Owner, please reset the lock and pair it to another new account. The former Owner account will no longer access the lock via the app and removal to the lock is recommended. The Link needs to re-pair as well if you have one. After completing the pairing, a Bluetooth icon will pop up on the app to the lock you set.

Different operation modes deal with the keypad code differently. ○ Stand-Alone Mode: ■ When invited, a 4-7 digits keypad code, called Master code to Owner, needs to be set when the invitee’s app is in connect with the lock via the Bluetooth. The keypad code can be the same as others(Family or Owner). ■ Guest is not allowed to set the keypad code.

Lock Firmware Update ● ● You can use the Kapture App to update the lock firmware and check if the latest version exists through Kapture Cloud. The app is able to update the lock firmware when the smartphone is in connect with the lock via the Bluetooth. Please make sure the smartphone is close enough to the lock and leave before ensuring a successful update message shown on the app when updating the lock firmware.
● Owner and Family can subscribe to the push notification which is interested. Below are the push notifications that we provide. Please note that the Security Alert cannot be disabled due to its significance.
