This dinosaur is made dis�nc�ve by the three horns on the skull that sit upon a large, bony frill. Triceratops has a large four-legged body that is similar to the modern rhinoceros. Triceratops and tyrannosaurus lived in the same period, so the role of its horns and shields were likely to defend against large predators.

The tail straight was like an iron rod, and the tail hammer was dis�nc�vely flat.
