Safety & Care Your ODG R-6 device has been designed and manufactured to stringent quality and safety standards. You should, however, be aware of the following important precautions for safe use of the glasses and accessories. This device contains lithium ion batteries, which can explode or cause burns if disassembled or exposed to fire or high heat. Batteries must be disposed and recycled safely and properly.

Quick Start 1 Unpack Glasses • Remove the glasses from the compact storage case. • Unfold the ear horn. See Page 18 2 Attach Accessories • If audio is desired, attach Ear Buds. See Page 12 • Attach Head Strap if needed. See Page 12 3 Adjust Fit • Adjust Nose Bridge height and/or swap nose pads if needed for optimum comfort and display viewing angle. They function equally with gloveless and gloved fingers. MAGNETIC USB DATA & POWER CABLE LEFT TEMPLE LEFT TEMPLE, TOP CHARGING SOLID WHITE CHARGED SOLID GREEN BATTERY ERROR BLINKING PINK CHARGING STATUS LIGHT FRONT, INSIDE Charging To charge the glasses, attach the Magnetic USB Data & Power Cable to the charging port on top of the left temple and plug the cable into the supplied power supply. A charging status light located on the inside front of the glasses illuminates when the charging cable is plugged in.
MAGNETIC EARBUD PORT EAR BUD (x2) SIDE VIEW Earbuds To listen to audio, attach each of the supplied earbuds into the magnetic earbud ports located on the bottom of each temple. To adjust the volume, press and release the Menu button to display the Volume settings in the Control Panel. HEAD STRAP ATTACHMENT 1. Insert Connector 2. Rotate 90° SIDE VIEW Head Strap The included Head Strap may be attached to secure the glasses to the wearer’s head.
TRACK PAD/CLICK BACK BUTTON MENU BUTTON FINGER STRAP BATTERY Wireless Finger Controller The Wireless Finger Controller is an input device for the system that is worn on the user’s index finger and controlled with their thumb. The Track Pad, Menu and Back buttons function in the same manner as the device’s buttons. (See Main Components, Page 8) To power up the controller, insert the battery and press and hold the Back and Menu buttons simultaneously until the status light flashes green.
Launching Applications When the system powers on, the Home Screen will appear with a row of icons mid-screen. Swiping a finger left or right across the track pad will select an application. Then press the Track Pad to launch the selection. Pressing and holding the Back button at any time will navigate the user to the Home Screen. To view all available applications on the system, select the “Show All Applications” icon. While viewing all applications, an indicator shows which icons are on the Home Screen.
Control Panel The Control Panel provides quick access to frequently used settings. Controls include Volume, Brightness, Display Mode, Input Mode and Voice Control. To access the Control Panel, press and release the Menu button. Swipe left or right to highlight a setting, then press and release the Track Pad to display a popup menu of options. Swipe up and down to select the desired setting. Press and release the Back button to exit the Control Panel.
PRESS AND HOLD BUTTON SLIDE UP AND DOWN FRONT, INSIDE Nose Bridge To provide comfort for the wearer as well as to adjust the glasses fit for optimum viewing of the displays, the nose bridge may be adjusted up and down to three positions. To adjust the height of the nose bridge, press and hold the indicated button and slide the nose bridge up or down. Three sizes of nose pads are also included to provide additional adjustment of fit for a variety of faces.
EAR HORN 1 2 TEMPLE DO NOT TWIST TEMPLE TEMPLE INTERIOR Storing the Glasses To store the glasses in the compact case, one of the ear horns must be folded in. Holding the temple, pull slightly on one of the ear horns to release it, then carefully rotate until it clicks into the folded position. Fold this ear horn down first, then fold the other (un-rotated) ear horn, then place the glasses into the compact case. Reverse these steps when removing the glasses from storage.
