Initial Phone Setup:
Before turning on your phone,
charge it fully.
Insert the small end of the USB cable into
the phone. Insert the larger end into the
charger and plug it into an outlet.
Connect to Wi-Fi – Select and connect to a specific network;
password will be needed if network is secured.
Google Services – Log in to your Google account and Google
Services, select and accept Privacy Policy options.
Set Screen Lock – Select options and enter password. Option to
add one or more fingerprints to unlock screen.
Open the Google folder from the home screen
and select the GMAIL application .
Tap Add an email address, Google.
Tap Create account and follow on screen prompts.
Open the Google folder from the home screen
and select the GMAIL application .
Touch the Home key > swipe up for apps
> Settings > Accounts > Add Account.
Tap the type of account you want to add.
Follow the screen prompts to enter information about the
account. Most accounts require username and password.
Touch the Home key > swipe
up for apps
> Settings > Security > Screen
lock.
Touch None, Swipe, Pattern, PIN or
Password.
Touch None to disable screen lock.
Touch Swipe to enable and allow
unlocking by
swiping black area on the screen.
Touch Pattern to create a pattern
that you will draw
on the screen to unlock it.
Touch PIN or Password to create a
PIN or Password
that must be entered to unlock the
screen.
For Pattern, PIN or Password, select
your preference for notifications
and their contents to show the
phone is locked. Press Done.
Touch the Home
Key > swipe up
for apps > Settings
> Security >
Fingerprint
Follow prompts on
screen.
Touch Home Key > swipe up for apps > Contacts
Tap Merge & fix. Select option to restore from other device,
Merge duplicates, add people you email often.
Touch > Settings > voicemail
Follow options to set up.
Touch > .
Touch and hold the “1” key on the keypad.
When prompted, enter your voicemail password.
Follow the voice prompts to listen to the messages
and manage your mailbox.
Touch Home Key > swipe up for apps > Contacts
Tap Search contacts > type the name of the contact
you are looking for
Note: Settings apply to all email accounts you have set up.

Tap > Settings > General Settings.
Customize based on your preferences.

Apps and notifications > Notifications
Set your preferences for different apps notifications.
To create an app shortcut, touch and hold any preloaded
or downloaded app and drag it onto the home screen.
On the bottom of the home screen is a customizable area
for your primary applications. You can keep up to five
applications here. Drag applications in or out of this area
to customize.
Touch Home key > swipe up for apps > Chrome
Touch Home key > swipe up for apps > Settings >
Network & Internet > Mobile network
Tap to
enable or disable Mobile data
WARNING: Only use the approved chargers with your device. Incompatible chargers
or tampering with the charger port could damage and void the warranty.
To turn ON, press and hold the
Power/Lock button located on the right
edge of your phone. To turn OFF,
press and hold the Power/Lock
button and follow the prompts.
From the home screen, tap .
Tap Start chat.
From the home screen, tap .

Enter the name or number of the recipient.
Enter your message.
To add an attachment to your message, tap .
To add a picture to your message, tap

to turn Bluetooth ON/OFF
> Pair new device.
Make sure Bluetooth is turned ON.
To easily identify your phone, you can change the name.
Touch Home Screen > swipe up for apps > Settings
> Connected devices.
Touch
(Device name)
> Rename this device.
Enter a name and touch RENAME to continue.
Your phone will scan for and display the names
of all available Bluetooth devices in the area.
Touch > Refresh if you want your phone to scan again.
Touch the name of the device you want to pair with.

Make sure Wi-Fi is ON.

Add new contacts and synchronize them with your Google
account and other accounts. To access contacts:
Touch the Home Screen > swipe up for apps > Contacts
From the Home Screen, tap the Phone icon .
Tap the Keypad icon .
Enter the number you want to call or the first letters
of the contact’s name and select the contact.
Tap the Call icon to place the call .
Tap the Answer icon to answer an incoming call .
Touch the sign on the lower right.
Enter the contact name, phone numbers, email address,
and any additional information.
