Federal communications commission notice
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the
FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential
installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in
accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no
guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to
radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try
to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
> Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
> Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
> Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
> Consult the dealer or an experienced radio or television technician for help.
Modifications
The FCC requires the user to be notified that any changes or modifications made to this device that are not expressly
approved by Option could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
Cables
The use of shielded cables for connection of the monitor to the graphics card is required to assure compliance with FCC
regulations.
(Part 15.105 only applies for digital devices in the meaning of the FCC rules)
Declaration of Conformity for products marked with the FCC logo - United States only

Exposure Information to Radio Frequency Energy
This USB 1.1 device has been tested in different notebooks for compliance with the SAR requirements.
Measured SAR values according to the CE regulations:
The maximum measured body SAR value (averaged over a mass of 10 g and distance between phantom and antenna of
15 mm) is 0,439 W/kg for GSM900, which is well below the limit of 2 W/kg.
The maximum measured body SAR value (averaged over a mass of 10 g and distance between phantom and antenna of
15 mm) is 0,556 W/kg for DCS1800, which is well below the limit of 2 W/kg.
The maximum measured body SAR value (averaged over a mass of 10 g and distance between phantom and antenna of
15 mm) is 0,849 W/kg for WCDMA 2100, which is well below the limit of 2 W/kg.
Measured SAR values according to the FCC regulations:
The maximum measured body SAR value (averaged over a mass of 1 g and bottom of computer in direct contact with
phantom) is 0,369 W/kg for GSM850, which is well below the limit of 1.6 W/kg.
The maximum measured body SAR value (averaged over a mass of 1 g and bottom of computer in direct contact with
phantom) is 0,733 W/kg for PCS1900, which is well below the limit of 1.6 W/kg.
CAUTION:
Users concerned with the risk of Radio Frequency exposure may wish to limit the duration of their calls and to
position the antenna as far away from the body as is practical.
The USB Stick has been tested with specific integral antenna for SAR compliance with three notebook
computers having vertical and horizontal USB slots.
The device can be used in notebook computers with substantially similar physical dimensions, construction, and
electrical and RF characteristics.
