QUICK START GUIDE
1. Insert a pin to press for 10 seconds to reset. The LED blinks red, green and blue aer reset.
2. Make sure your iOS device (iOS 13.2 or later) is connected to a 5GHz or 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
3. Download and launch the free Onvis Home app from the App Store. Tap ‘skip’ to use HomeKit directly,
or log in/sign up an Onvis account for more services. Or use the Apple Home App to set up and control.
4. Tap “+” on the top right corner and scan the HomeKit QR code to set up the device.
5. If the app prompts “Couldn’t add Onvis-XXXXXX”, please reset and re-add the device. Please keep the
QR code for future use.
6. Assign the device to a room, name it and use this name to control with Siri. This smart camera can be
integrated into your
HomeKit scenes and automations.
7. The use of a HomeKit-enable accessory needs the follow permissions:
a.Settings>iCloud>iCloud Drive>Turn On
b. Sttings>iCloud>Keychain>Turn On
c. Settings>Privacy>HomeKit>Onvis Home>Turn On

Installation Guide

Insert the reset pin into the reset hole and hold for 10 seconds until the LED blinks red,
green, blue once.

Onvis C3 is compatible with Apple HomeKit. Call out Siri in iOS devices or Apple Watch like, “Hey, Siri, show me
the baby Room” to view a live stream wherever you are. Onvis C3 blends in with your Apple gadgets.
HomeKit Secure Video
Onvis C3 supports HomeKit Secure Video, enabling you to securely store activity detected by your cameras in iCloud.
View live and recorded video from your Onvis C3 in the Apple Home app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
No Extra Cloud Storage Fee
Onvis C3 shoots recordings on events, and stores videos on iCloud for free if an iCloud plan is registered.
Once saved, the videos on iCloud can be reviewed and downloaded from the Home App and stored locally
in your iOS devices. Onvis C3 supports local storage of up to 128GB in MicroSD card.

Restore factory settings
Press and hold the reset button for about 10 seconds. When the blue LED indicator blinks slowly, the device has been
restored to factory settings.
HomeKit Hub Setting
An Apple device as HomeKit hub (iPad/Apple TV/HomePod) is necessary to enable remote control and notification.

FAQ
Why did I fail to set up my Onvis Smart Camera C3 to Onvis Home app?
1.Make sure your C3 is powered on and nearby.
2.If you have a dual band router, please connect your phone to the 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi network.
3. Make sure your accessory’s blue LED blinks slowly, if not, please reset tofactory settings.
4. Select the C3 shown on screen, then scan the setup code which can be found on the device, instruction manual
or inner packaging.
5. If the app prompts ”couldn’t add the device” aer your scanning the setup code:
(1)delete the current ”Home” in Home Settings and close the app;
(2)restore the accessory to factory settings;
(3)add the accessory again;
C3 works normally after restoring factory settings, but it occasionally gets
disconnected from networks and cannot be recognized.
1. Make sure the number of Wi-Fi connected devices is within the wireless network capacity of your router. Otherwise,
please use a higher capacity router.
2. Reconnect your iOS devices to Wi-Fi and make sure the Wi-Fi signal is strong enough.
3. If your router performs poorly in wireless networks, it might result from network congestion. Wait until
the network is fixed.
4. Check the router settings and see if there is a limit to the number of simultaneous connections.
5. Restart or restore your C3 to factory settings, and add your device to the Onvis Home app.
6. Update the firmware to the latest version.
