Q: Is it difficult to install this train toy? Can a 3-year-old child assemble it by himself? A: I think so, my 3-year-old boys installed and assembled this train toy by himself and had a lot of fun. Q: Would I be able to turn the sound off the train and still have it run around the track? Can you turn the sound off the train? A: No there is no option to turn the sound off. But the sound is not obnoxious nor extremely loud. The sound is clear.
