SAFETY (Red Handled) CONTROL SWITCH:
The control switch allows you to temporarily disable the remote starting
function of your Remote Start system. To disable the system, move the red
handled control switch to the OFF position.
REMOTE STARTING THE VEHICLE:
The system WILL NOT start the vehicle if any one of the following situations
exist:
1. The vehicle's hood is opened.
2. The gear shift selector is not in Park.
3. The brake pedal is depressed.
4. The safety control switch is in the Off position.
1. To start the vehicle, press and release the transmitter button two times
within 2 seconds. The vehicle will start and remain running for one of the
pre-programmed 5, 10, 15, or 20 minute run cycles. As a visual indication,
the parking lights will flash or remain on depending on the setting by your
installation center.
2. When you arrive at the vehicle, turn the ignition key to the RUN position
(Do not try to restart the vehilce), then step on the brake pedal to disengage
the remote start. The vehicle will continue to run, but now on it's own
power.
SHUTING DOWN THE REMOTE START:
To shutdown the vehicle, press and release the transmitter button two
times within 2 seconds.
