Battery Replacement, Usage,
and Programming of the Remote Control Unit
Part I: Remote Use
Use the top button on your remote to raise your boat, and
the bottom button to lower your boat.
The smaller button below is used for the optional lighting
kit and programming of the remote.
Important
The following instructions are intended to be used for pairing a Generation 4 Remote
(gray case with black buttons) to a Generation 4 Remote Receiver (signified by
sticker on the face of the Boat Lift Boss).
For pairing instructions with Generation 3 Receivers, follow the web path at the bottom of the page.

Part II: Programming
Step 1
Unplug the Boat Lift Boss unit from the
power source.
Step 2
Turn the unit key in either direction to
reset the unit. This is mandatory.
Step 3
Press and hold the “Light Control”
button on the remote control and
reconnect the power to the Boat
Lift Boss unit. Continue to hold the
“Light Control” button for 5 seconds.
