Introduction
The NolaN GuideMate is compact, easy to carry, hand-held GPS
receiver with e-compass. It provides the high sensitivity for
personal navigation, allowing you to navigate the POI (point of
interest) anytime you want. And when navigating, it can provide
current position, direction, real time, speed, distance to
destination, and more trip information. It can also save your
track log, you can see it on the map using our PC application.
Getting Started
Remove all components from the package. Items in the pack
include: GuideMate, USB data cable, CD-ROM and this User
Guide. Please check the contents carefully and contact your local
dealer immediately if anything is missing or damaged.
Getting to Know Your GuideMate
Please note some models of GuideMate will differ slightly in
style, colour and the functionality may vary according to their
specifications. For up-to-date information check the support

Buttons Description
Power On/OFF
y Slide the switch to turn the unit on /off.
NEXT
y Press to view next page or setting menu.
y Press to return to previous page or setting menu.
y Press to clear stopwatch.
SELECT
y Press to select Roam or nav. mode of the main page.
y Press to scroll through info pages.
y Press to start/stop the stopwatch.
y Press to highlight options.
y Press and hold to enter sub-menu pages.
y Press and hold to select options.
USB Connector Port
y Provides interface to a PC for data transfer.
View the Pages
Information you need for basic navigation using the GuideMate
is provided by the Main Page. To view these pages, press NEXT
button repeatedly to cycle from one to another.
Main Page - Provides guidance to a destination.
Trip Info Page - Display trip and navigation data.
Stopwatch Page - Provide stopwatch to start the timer.
Destination Page - Provides destination selection, mark the
location and track log information
Destination Information Page - Display the destination
information.
Setting Page - A directory of settings.
Install the Batteries
The GuideMate operates on two AAA batteries, which are
installed at the back of the unit and should last about 22 hours in
normal mode. Please make sure calibrate e-compass first after
you change the batteries.
