LUMINA™ PRO 1300 USER GUIDE
UNLOCK BEFORE USE. LOCK THE HEADLAMP BEFORE TRANSIT OR STORAGE
Press and hold any single button for 8-10 seconds to lock / unlock light.
It is important to lock the headlamp and protect the switch from being pressed while it is in transit. The headlamp can be easily
turned on if placed in something like a backpack, duffel bag or suitcase. The headlamp gets hot while in operation. To prevent
potential damage from high heat or even fire, it is very important to put the headlamp in lock mode and protect the switch from
being pressed. NiteRider® will not be held responsible for damages to person or property resulting from a failure to follow the
‘lock’ mode instructions.
WARNING
A bicycle without lights and reflectors might be difficult for other people to see, and you might not be able to see. If you cannot
see, or other people cannot see you, you could have an accident. Make sure your lights operate correctly and that batteries are
charged.

MOUNTING THE HANDLEBAR CLAMP MOUNT AND HEAD LIGHT
The Handlebar Clamp Mount (HCM) is designed to fit on virtually any handlebar (25.4mm - 35mm diameter handlebars).
1. Turn the knob counter-clockwise, allowing the hinge to swing open.
2. Place the HCM on the handlebar on the left side of the stem, orienting the mounting rails with release tab towards rear.
3. Swing the hinge down to make contact with the handlebar.
4. Swing the bolt up, seating the knob into its recess.
5. Turn the knob clockwise to tighten and secure the mount to the handlebar.
MOUNTING THE HEAD LIGHT ONTO THE HANDLEBAR CLAMP MOUNT (HCM)
With the light facing forward, align bottom mounting rails of light to top of rails of HCM. Pull light back along the rails until tabs
engage and lock into place. Test for a secure fitment by pushing light forward, ensuring there is no movement and that tabs have
engaged into the light base. Do not push the release tab when testing for a secure fitment.
Note: After mounting the headlamp, adjust it so the beam illuminates your path without distracting oncoming riders.
REMOVING LIGHT FROM MOUNT
To remove the head light, press the release tab down and slide the head light forward.
OPERATION
1. For the initial power ON, the light will need to be unlocked. Press and hold any single button for 8-10 seconds to unlock.
2. A single press of power button switch #1 button will power ON in High Mode. To power ON in Low Mode,
press power button switch #2.
3. To increase power, press power button switch #1. To decrease power, press power button switch #2. Steady light mode settings
are in the following order WALK, LOW, MEDIUM, HIGH, AND BOOST.
A. Walk Mode is indicated by a slow pulse yellow LED in the LED switch.
B. Low Mode is indicated by a steady yellow LED light in the LED switch.
C. Medium Mode is indicated by a steady green LED light in the LED switch.
D. High Mode is indicated by a steady blue LED light in the LED switch.
E. Boost Mode is indicated by a steady red and blue LED light in the LED switch.
4. To access flash modes, press and hold any power button switch for 3 seconds until the light begins to flash.
A. Cycle through 3 flash modes by pressing power button switch #1 or #2.
B. Flash mode is indicated by a blue LED light in the LED power button switch that mimics the selected flash pattern.
C. To return to steady light modes, press and hold any power button switch for 3 seconds until steady ON light appears.
5. To power OFF the light, press and hold any power button switch until light turns off.
6. To lock / unlock light, press and hold power button for 8-10 seconds.

8-STEP FUEL GAUGE
The 8-step, LED Fuel Gauge is located on top of the headlamp in front of the power button. When all four LED’s are lit solid green,
the battery is fully charged. As the battery discharges ⅛ increments of capacity, the LED’s from right to left, successively go from
solid green to blinking green, to out. With only the final ⅛ capacity remaining one LED blinks red. At this time, the headlamp should
be turned off and the battery recharged.
BATTERY CHARGING AND CARE
1. Plug the USB Charging Cable into the USB port located on the bottom of the light. Then plug the other end into a powered-on
computer or directly to a wall outlet using the provided AC Charging Adapter.
2. The 8-step fuel gauge will indicate the progress of the charging, starting at whatever state the battery is at when it is plugged
into the charger. When the battery is fully charged, all 4 green LEDs of the fuel gauge with light-up steady ON, until the charging
adapter is removed.
3. Unplug the AC Charging Adapter from the light by grasping the connectors rather than the cable.
4. It is good practice to store your light away with a full charge. For extended periods, charge the light every three months to
maximize its lifespan.
FACTORY RESET
To Factory Reset your Lumina™ Pro, press and hold Switch #1 until the 1st LED Fuel Gauge flashes yellow.
This indicates that your light has been reset.
TO PAIR THE LUMINA™ PRO
1. Press and hold both power buttons (Switch #1 and #2) until the Fuel Gauge scrolls green.
The scrolling green gauge indicates the light is in pairing mode.
2. Activate pairing mode in devices to be synced.
3. When the Lumina™ Pro connects with the device, the Fuel Gauge will begin to flash, indicating it has paired to the device.
Note: Only one set of NiteLink™ lights and accessories can be paired within a 30ft. radius.
The Lumina™ Pro can be paired with one NiteLink™ taillight. To pair an additional 5 NiteLink™ accessories
a NiteLink™ Wireless Remote must be used (Remote sold separately).

OPTIMAL VIZ WITH NITERIDER®
While a NiteRider® lighting system will improve your view / visibility, control and enjoyment of riding, please remember that cycling
can be an inherently dangerous activity. In addition to using your lighting system properly and riding with extreme caution,
NiteRider® urges you to:
• Obey your local traffic laws
• Always let someone know where you are going
• Wear a helmet, highly visible and reflective clothing
• Carry an auxiliary light and emergency supplies
• Make sure the headlamp and mounting bracket are securely fastened
• Always set your light to lock mode during transport or storage
PROTECTING YOUR INVESTMENT
Properly charge your battery to maximize its lifespan (see the “Battery Charging and Care” section for detailed information).
The Lumina™ Pro will perform in wet weather conditions, but submerging it in water will damage the system. To prevent water
damage, ensure USB port cover remains tightly sealed while operating your light.

MONTAJE DEL SOPORTE DE LA ABRAZADERA DEL MANILLAR Y DEL FARO DELANTERO
El soporte de abrazadera para manillar (HCM) está diseñado para adaptarse a prácticamente cualquier manillar (manillares de 25,4
mm a 35 mm de diámetro).
1. Gire la perilla en sentido antihorario, permitiendo que la bisagra se abra.
2. Coloque el HCM en el manillar en el lado izquierdo de la potencia, orientando los rieles de montaje con la lengüeta de liberación
hacia atrás.
3. Gire la bisagra hacia abajo para hacer contacto con el manillar.
4. Gire el perno hacia arriba, asentando la perilla en su hueco.

MONTAJE DEL FARO DELANTERO EN EL SOPORTE DE LA ABRAZADERA DEL MANILLAR (HCM)
Con la luz hacia adelante, alinee los rieles de montaje inferiores de la luz con la parte superior de los rieles del HCM. Tire de la luz
hacia atrás a lo largo de los rieles hasta que las pestañas encajen y bloqueen en su lugar. Pruebe el ajuste seguro empujando la luz
hacia adelante, asegurándose de que no haya movimiento y que las pestañas se hayan encajado en la base de la luz. No empuje la
lengüeta de liberación cuando pruebe un ajuste seguro.
Nota: Después de montar el faro, ajústelo de modo que el haz ilumine su camino sin distraer a los pasajeros que se aproximan.
QUITAR LA LUZ DEL MONTAJE
Para quitar la luz delantera, presione la pestaña de liberación hacia abajo y deslice la luz delantera hacia adelante.
OPERACIÓN
1. Para el encendido inicial, la luz deberá estar desbloqueada. Mantenga presionado cualquier botón durante 8 a 10 segundos
para desbloquearlo.
2. Una sola pulsación del botón de encendido # 1 se encenderá en el modo alto. Para encender en modo bajo, presione el
interruptor del botón de encendido n. ° 2.
3. Para aumentar la potencia, presione el interruptor del botón de encendido # 1. Para disminuir la potencia, presione el interruptor
del botón de encendido # 2. Los ajustes del modo de luz fija están en el siguiente orden: CAMINAR, BAJO, MEDIO, ALTO Y
AUMENTO.
A. El modo de caminata se indica mediante un LED amarillo de pulso lento en el interruptor LED.

4. Para acceder a los modos de flash, mantenga presionado cualquier botón de encendido durante 3 segundos hasta que la luz
comience a parpadear.
A. Haga un ciclo a través de 3 modos de flash presionando el interruptor del botón de encendido # 1 o # 2.

MEDIDOR DE COMBUSTIBLE DE 8 PASOS
El indicador de combustible LED de 8 pasos se encuentra en la parte superior del faro, frente al botón de encendido. Cuando los
cuatro LED se iluminan en verde fijo, la batería está completamente cargada. A medida que la batería se descarga ⅛ incrementos
de capacidad, los LED de derecha a izquierda, pasan sucesivamente de verde fijo a verde parpadeante, para apagarse. Con solo la
capacidad final ⅛ restante, un LED parpadea en rojo. En este momento, el faro debe estar apagado y la batería recargada.
CARGA Y CUIDADO DE LA BATERÍA
1. Conecte el cable de carga USB al puerto USB ubicado en la parte inferior de la luz. Luego, conecte el otro extremo a una
computadora encendida o directamente a un tomacorriente de pared usando el adaptador de carga de CA proporcionado.
2. El indicador de combustible de 8 pasos indicará el progreso de la carga, comenzando en cualquier estado en el que se
encuentre la batería cuando se conecta al cargador. Cuando la batería está completamente cargada, los 4 LED verdes del
indicador de combustible se encienden permanentemente, hasta que se quita el adaptador de carga.
3. Desenchufe el adaptador de carga de CA de la luz agarrando los conectores en lugar del cable.
4. Es una buena práctica guardar la luz con una carga completa. Durante períodos prolongados, cargue la luz cada tres meses
para maximizar su vida útil.
REINICIO DE FÁBRICA
Para restablecer de fábrica su Lumina™ Pro, presione y mantenga presionado el interruptor # 1 hasta que el primer indicador LED
de combustible parpadee en amarillo, lo que indica que su luz se ha restablecido.
PARA EMPAREJAR EL LUMINA™ Pro
1. Presione y mantenga presionados ambos botones de encendido (interruptor n. ° 1 y n. ° 2) hasta que el indicador de
combustible se desplace en verde. El indicador verde que se desplaza indica que la luz está en modo de emparejamiento.
2. Active el modo de emparejamiento en los dispositivos que se sincronizarán.
3. Cuando el Lumina ™ Pro se conecta con el dispositivo, el indicador de combustible comenzará a parpadear, lo que indica que
se ha emparejado con el dispositivo.
