Wearing the Pokémon GO Plus accessory
IMPORTANT: Please read the Health and Safety Information section before wearing this accessory.
Using a shirt pocket or belt
The clip on the back of the accessory can be used to wear it on your shirt pocket or belt.
Using the included wristband
Use the included wristband to wear the accessory on your wrist.
Remove the battery cover and attach the wristband.
See Battery Replacement, Step 1, for information on removing the battery cover. Insert the tab on the
inside of the wristband’s battery cover into the opening, close the cover, and tighten the screw.
Make sure that the tab on the inside of the battery cover on the wristband is correctly inserted into
accessory. If the tab is not properly aligned, water resistance is adversely aected.
Open the lever on the wristband lock, adjust the band length, and put it on your wrist.
Pull the end of the band to adjust the length, close the lever to lock the band, and then
secure the end with the wristband hook.
Battery Replacement
A parent or guardian should replace the battery (CR2032) if a child is using this product. Make sure you are using a
cross-head style screwdriver that matches the size (#0) of the screw head.
Remove the battery cover.
Loosen the screw with the screwdriver and remove the battery cover.
The screw is designed to stay attached to the battery cover even when it is loosened to prevent it from
being lost.
Replace the battery.
After removing the old battery, insert the new battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
Do not force the battery out using a sharp point such as the tip of a screwdriver.
Attach the battery cover and press the button on the front of the accessory.
Re-attach the battery cover and tighten the screw.
When attaching the cover, verify that the tab on the battery cover is correctly aligned and inserted into
accessory. If the tab is not properly inserted, water resistance is adversely aected.
WARNING - BATTERY LEAKAGE
Perchlorate Material – special handling may apply.

personal injury as well as damage to your accessory. If battery leakage occurs, thoroughly wash the aected skin and clothes. Keep
battery uid away from your eyes and mouth. Leaking batteries may make popping sounds. To avoid battery leakage:
Do not use any battery other than the type specied for this product (CR2032).
Do not leave the battery in the accessory for long periods of non-use.
Do not attempt to recharge the battery.
Do not put the battery in backwards. The plus (+) side should face outwards when inserted correctly.
Do not use a damaged, deformed, or leaking battery.
Do not dispose of the battery in a re.
Do not short-circuit the battery or the terminals in the battery compartment.
Do not attempt to disassemble the battery.
Do not expose the battery to extremes of heat or to liquids.
When the battery has no charge left, remove it from the accessory and dispose of properly, following appropriate local guidelines

Please read this Operations Manual before using the Pokémon GO Plus accessory and also the manuals for your smart
device and the Pokémon GO application. If this product will be used by young children, this manual should be read
and explained to them by an adult.
IMPORTANT: Do not immerse this accessory in liquid
Immersion in water or other liquids or exposure to excessive moisture may cause a
malfunction and permanent damage to this accessory.
If you have attached this accessory to your clothes or keep it in your pocket, be sure to
remove it before washing your clothes.
If the product is malfunctioning due to moisture, cease use immediately
and visit pokemon.com/support.

WARNING - RADIO FREQUENCY INTERFERENCE
The accessory can emit radio waves that can aect the operation of nearby electronics, including cardiac pacemakers.
Do not operate this accessory within 9 inches of a pacemaker.
If you have a pacemaker or other implanted medical device, do not use this accessory without rst consulting your
doctor or the manufacturer of your medical device.
Observe and follow all regulations and rules regarding use of wireless devices in locations such as hospitals, air-
ports, and on board aircraft. Operation in those locations may interfere with or cause malfunctions of equipment,
with resulting injuries to persons or damage to property.
IMPORTANT: To temporarily disable wireless communication such as in a hospital or airplane, turn o the Bluetooth®
function on your smart device. See the instructions for your smart device for more information about disabling
Bluetooth or wireless communications.

This package includes a Pokémon GO Plus accessory and a wristband. The accessory contains a non-recharge-
able button-type battery (CR2032) already installed.

Getting Started
Follow these steps with your smart device data connection turned on and Bluetooth enabled.
Download the Pokémon GO application on your smart device.
For more information about Pokémon GO and supported devices, see pokemon.com/support.
Remove the plastic insulation tab from the accessory.
When the product is new, it includes a plastic tab to prevent the battery from
being drained before purchase.
Pair (connect) the accessory with your smart device.
Open the conguration screen for Pokémon GO on your smart device and tap
“Settings” to pair it with your smart device.
To un-pair the accessory from your smart device and use with another device:
Open the Bluetooth conguration screen on your smart device and remove the Pokémon GO Plus accessory
from the paired devices. See the instructions for your smart device for more information on using the Bluetooth
conguration screen.
Press and hold the button on the accessory for 5 seconds. The LED will light up blue. If the LED ashes blue, wait
until the ashing stops and then repeat step 2 again.
While the button is lit, press and hold the button again for 5 more seconds. The accessory will vibrate and the
pairing will be canceled. See Getting Started, Step 3, to pair the accessory with another smart device.
Troubleshooting
LED does not light up
See Battery Replacement instructions and check to make sure the battery is installed correctly.
Try replacing the battery with a fresh one.
Try removing the battery and then re-installing it.
The accessory vibrates and the LED lights up red
The connection between the accessory and the smart device has been lost. This may be caused by interference with communication
within your operating environment. Verify that your smart device can connect to the Internet, make sure that the accessory is with-
ing 30’ (10m) or less of your smart device, and then try reconnecting.
Cannot connect to smart device
Un-pair the accessory and run the pairing operation again from the conguration screen in the Pokémon GO application (see the
section on Getting Started).

The Pokémon Company International warrants to the original purchaser that the accessory product shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a
period of three (3) months from the date of purchase. If a defect covered by this warranty occurs during this three (3) month warranty period, The Pokémon Company
International will repair or replace the defective product, free of charge. The original purchaser is entitled to this warranty only if the date of purchase is registered at
point of sale or the consumer can demonstrate, to The Pokémon Company International’s satisfaction, that the product was purchased within the last 3 months. In some
instances, it may be necessary for you to ship the complete product, FREIGHT PREPAID AND INSURED FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE, to The Pokémon Company International.

Appuyez et maintenez enfoncé le bouton de l’accessoire pendant 5 secondes. Le témoin deviendra bleu. Si celui-
ci clignote, veuillez attendre qu’il arrête de clignoter et répétez l’étape 2.
Lorsque le bouton est allumé, appuyez et maintenez-le enfoncé pendant 5 secondes.
L’accessoire se mettra à vibrer et l’association s’annulera. Consultez l’étape 3 de la section Pour commencer

Retirer le couvercle de la pile et attacher le bracelet.

dans l’accessoire. Si la saillie n’est pas alignée correctement, l’eau pourrait s’inltrer dans l’accessoire.
