For your Safety For your safety and proper use of the mobile phone, please read the following guidelines carefully: Do not switch the mobile phone on when close to chemical factory, gas station or other explosive objects. While driving, please use headset for safety purposes, unless otherwise in emergency, always stop the car on roadside to have a call conversation. Because the use of the mobile phone can cause interference in the aircraft, never use the mobile phone in an aircraft.
Do not plug the charger into the mobile phone and charge without battery. Always power off the mobile phone when taking out the battery; otherwise the memory of the phone may be damaged. When charging the mobile phone, always keep it in the place with good ventilation, heat sink and away from flammable and explosive objects. In order to avoid demagnetization, always keep the mobile phone away from magnetic objects such as CD, credit card etc.
This mobile phone has shooting, video and audio recording functions, which shall be used as per the related laws and regulations. Always keep the mobile phone out of children’s reach. Do not throw or vibrate the mobile phone because violent treatment to the mobile phone may damage the inner circuits and precise structures. Preparation before Use Install SIM Card When registering mobile phone number, you can apply for two different phone numbers, two different mobile phone network service providers and thus obtain two SIM (Subscriber Identification Module) cards. With these two SIM cards, you can use all functions of your mobile phone. The SIM cards save the parameters needed for communications and personal data, including PIN (Personal Identification Number) code, phonebook, short message and other extra system services.
SIM Cards Install Memory card As the mobile phone does not have enough storage space, to use some functions, you need to install a memory card (This mobile phone use Micro SD card.) Install Micro SD card: Open the back cover to take out the battery, release the Micro SD card lock, insert the Micro SD card into its slot, and restore the lock and the battery before restarting the mobile phone.
Memory Card Note: As the Micro SD card is small object, keep it out of children’s touch or prevent children from swallowing it! Install Battery The mobile phone is suitable for original battery and accessories. When the battery is idle, it is recommended to put it into the protection box. Follow the diagram on how to install the battery. Note: Do install the battery as per the diagram so as prevent the battery contact patch being damaged.
Battery Charge Battery The new battery cannot reach the optimal efficiency unless it has undergone several continuous complete charges and discharges. When the battery is used up, charge it in time. Over‐ discharge can damage the battery. After the battery is fully charged, cut off the connection of charger with the AC power supply and the connection with the mobile phone.
While charging, the battery capacity icon will display on the checkbox. After the battery is fully charged, the icon is full of bars. Charging……. Fully Charged……. Warning: When a travel charger and its accessories are used to charge the battery, please check first if they are original or recognized by the original manufacturer. The use of other accessories may damage your mobile phone and cause risks! Always use them indoor and dry places.

Warning: If the PIN code is inputted wrongly for three successive times, the SIM card will be locked. Please contact the network operator immediately for help. Attempting to unlock the code may make the SIM card ineffective permanently. Basic Operation Switch on/off Once you installed your SIM card, battery, and micro SD card, press the POWER button to switch on your phone.
2. Waking up from Sleep mode Your phone wakes up automatically when you have an incoming call. To wake up your phone manually, press the POWER button, and press the unlock icon to unlock the screen. Notifications Notification icons on the status bar report the arrival of new messages, calendar events, alarms set and ongoing settings such as when call forwarding is on or the current call status.

Notifications Panel Adjusting the volume 1. Adjusting the ringer volume: (1) Press VOLUME UP or VOLUME DOWN buttons on the left side of the phone to adjust the ringer volume.
(2)When it’s in the lowest level already, pressing the VOLUME DOWN once will change the phone to Vibration Mode. While in Vibration Mode, the vibration icon will appear on the status bar. Personalizing Making your phone truly yours Personalize your phone with different wallpapers, ringtones, and notification sounds for events such as incoming text, email, calendar reminders, and more. Your phone's Home screen can be customized and extends beyond the screen width, giving you plenty of space to add new information.
To find out how to set notification sounds for events, see "Settings> Audio profile > General / Meeting / Outdoor >Notifications>Notification ringtone". Changing your wallpaper Personalize your Home screen wallpaper. To change your wallpaper to your desired one, long press anywhere on the idle HOME screen and select wallpaper from the pop‐up options.
If there is no more space for adding a widget, you can add the widget on another screen or rearrange the current Home screen. Adding application icons and other shortcuts on your Home screen Two methods to add application icons on the Home screen: Method 1: Press HOME. Go to Home screen→ press and long hold on the screen→ Tap Shortcuts. Method 2:Tap Menu, tap Add and tap Shortcuts. After tapping the Shortcuts, you can choose the desired application on the Home screen where the space is enough.
If you select New Folder, press and hold an application icon or a shortcut that you want to move to the folder. The phone then vibrates. Don't lift your finger. Drag the application icon or shortcut and drop it on top of the folder. Then, simply tap the folder to open it so you can access the applications and shortcuts inside the folder. 2. Renaming a folder (a)Tap the folder to open it. (b) Press and hold the folder window's title bar. (c) Enter a new folder name and then tap OK.

Making Calls Most SIM cards are preset with a PIN (personal identification number) that is provided by your mobile operator. When prompted, enter the preset PIN, then tap Enter. If you enter the wrong PIN three times, the SIM card is locked. You can unblock it with the PUK (PIN Unblocking Key) obtained from your mobile operator. See "Restoring a SIM card that has been locked out" in the Security chapter for details.
As you enter digits or letters, the panel displays numbers and names that match the keys you tapped. If you enter a wrong digit, tap this icon to erase that digit. To erase the entire number, press and hold it for a few seconds. If there is no matching contact in the list after entering the number, tap the long icon to call from SIM1 or SIM2. ◆Smart Dial Simply enter the phone number or first few letters of the person you want to call.
The phone will recognize a number as a phone number if the number has a minimum of 5 digits and have at least one of the following: Numbers preceded by a "+" in front. e.g. +1‐987‐654‐321 or +1987654321. Numbers enclosed in parenthesis in front. e.g. (02)987654321 or (02)987‐654‐321. Numbers separated by dashes. e.g. (02)‐987‐654‐321 or 0987‐654‐321. 5. Tap Call and choose the SIM card. When there is an incoming call, drag this icon to the right to answer the call. ◆Rejecting an incoming call When there is an incoming call, drag to the left to reject the call. Using in‐call options 1.

When you put a call on hold, the Hold call icon appears in the status bar. You can start a conference call between all parties by merging the calls. To merge the calls, tap Merge calls at the bottom of the screen. Multiple calls screen is as below, the call in process is on middle of the screen and the other call on hold is shown on the top right corner. Drag Dial pad up to show the dial pad while drag it down to hide it. 3. Setting up a conference call (1)Make a call to the first conference call participant.
On the screen, tap End call. If you are using the provided wired headset, press and hold the button to end the call. If the phone number of the person who called is not in your contacts list, you can choose to save the number to your contacts list after you hang up. Using call log When you missed a call, the missed call icon appears in left of the title bar. Use the Call log tab in the Phone application to check who the caller was or view all your dialed numbers and received calls.

About Contacts In contacts, you can easily manage your communications with contacts via phone, messaging, and email. If you are synchronizing contacts with your Google account, with your PC, and/or with an Exchange Server, any contacts stored in those accounts are displayed in contacts. For more information on synchronizing accounts, see "Settings> Accounts & sync " chapter.
Display contacts Press HOME > Applications>Contacts, all of your contacts will automatically be displayed on the screen. If the screen doesn’t display all of them, scroll down to the next page to see more contacts. Choose Menu> Display options will change the display options from the following aspects: ◆Only contacts with phones ◆Sort list by ◆View contact names as Search for contact Press HOME > Applications>Contacts Menu> Search, the tap the name of the contact you want to search on input frame.
You can delete contact by the following ways: 1. Press and hold a few seconds on the contact you want to delete, then the options screen displays. Tap Delete contact to delete it. 2. Press HOME > Applications>Contacts Menu>Delete Contact. Then tap OK on the confirm screen or tap Cancel to go back to contacts. Accounts 1. General sync settings, including Background data and Auto‐sync. When background data is on, applications can sync, send, and receive data at any time.
To open your message inbox, press HOME> Applications >Messaging. If the list of messages does not fit on the screen, you can scroll down to view more messages by swiping your finger on the screen. 1. Bold text indicates unread messages in the thread. 2 .Tap to open the message or message thread and read the text or view the picture message. If you are on home screen, this icon on status bar indicates there are new messages. 3. The icons on the right side of the message indicate which SIM card it came from.
2.On the All messages screen, tap Compose message and the compose screen opens. 3. When done, tap “Send by SIM1” or “Send by SIM2 “to send the text message. When the message is sending, it will appear “Sending” beside that message; when it has been sent out, it will show the time of sending out. If you exceed the limit on the number of characters for a single text message, your text message will be delivered as one but will be billed as more than one message. These are called concatenated messages.
After editing, press Send to send it out. Fill in one or more recipients. You can: Enter phone numbers or email addresses directly in the To field. If you're sending the message to several recipients, separate the phone numbers or email addresses with a comma. As you enter information, any matching phone numbers or addresses from your contacts list are displayed. Tap a match to enter that number or address directly. Tap the icon, and then select the contacts to whom you want to send the message.
2. Tap the message to resume editing it. 3. When you finish editing the message, tap Send. Message conversations Text and multimedia messages that are sent to and received from a contact (or a number) are grouped into conversations or message threads in the All messages screen. Threaded text or multimedia messages let you see exchanged messages (similar to a chat program) with a contact on the screen.
Options of Messages On all messages thread screen, tap Menu will see the following options: 1. Compose: Select it to compose a new message. 2. Delete threads: Delete all the threads. 3. Search: As you enter, the messages contain the words you searched would be listed below. 4. Settings. Options of message threads On a certain message list screen, press and hold on any message thread will appear the options as below: 1. View thread: View the entire thread in detail.
Options of a particular message thread On a certain message thread screen, tap Menu will appear the options as below: 1. Call: Call the sender or receiver of the message. 2. Add subject: To add subject to that message and it will automatically converted to multimedia message. 3. Attach: Add attachments to the message; choose one of the following to attach: pictures, capture picture, videos, capture video, audio, record audio, slideshow 4. Insert smiley: Insert chosen smiley. 5. Insert quick text. 6.
Press and hold on a locked message, then choose unlock it on the options. 2. Add the message sender to Contacts 3 Forward: Forward the message to others. 4. Copy message text: Copy the text of that message for further use. 5. View message details: It will show the message type, sender or receiver, and sent time. 6. Delete message: It will delete the message. New message notifications To change the notification for new text and multimedia messages, see "Options of messages" chapter.
Before sending or receiving emails, you need to create and activate an email account. Only some “Plus” accounts include POP access allowing this program to connect. If you don’t have, please launch the web browser to gain access to these email accounts. Calendar About Calendar Use your phone's Calendar to create and manage your events, meetings, and appointments.
Creating a calendar event To create a calendar event, you have to login your account first. Then, you can create events in your calendar. 1. Press HOME> Applications >Calendar. 2. On any Calendar view, press MENU>More> New event. When you are in the Month or Agenda view, you can also tap to create a new event. 3. If you have more than one calendar, select a calendar in which to add the event. 4. Enter a name for the event. 5.
8. If the event occurs on a regular basis, tap the Repetition box and then choose how often the event occurs. 9. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and then tap Add. ◆Inviting guests to your event If you want to invite guests to your event, you need to create and add the event in your Google Calendar. While viewing the summary of an event on the Event details screen, press MENU and then tap Delete event. In Day, Agenda or Week view, press and hold an event and then tap Delete event. When editing an event, scroll down to the bottom of screen and then tap Delete. If the event repeats, you'll be asked whether you want to delete just that occurrence, this and all future occurrences, or all past and future occurrences in your Calendar.
Note: The precision of this calculator is limited and can be used only for simple calculation. Clock About the Clock widget The Clock widget that's by default added on the Home screen shows your current date, time and location.

Press and hold on the alarm for a few seconds, the available options: Turn alarm on, Edit alarm, Delete alarm will display. Tap Turn Alarm On/Off here will also change the status of the alarm. Deleting the alarm clock Press and hold on the alarm for a few seconds, the available options will display. Tap Delete alarm and tap OK to confirm, then the alarm would be deleted.
Lock screen Clock Widget When the screen is locked, it will display a Lock screen Clock Widget as below, with the black hole on top and clock widget below. It displays the time, date, your located city, the weather information of your current location. To unlock the screen, drag the arrow on middle of the clock widget up to the black hole. Then the black hole rotates and your phone changes to the Home screen.

You need to copy music files to your storage card first to use the Music application to play music.
Music Playing Screen Tap any song will enter the playing screen. When any song is playing, the Music icon appears on status bar of the phone. Drag it down will show the ongoing music and tap it will enter Music Playing screen directly. Use the onscreen controls to control music playing, pause, fast‐forward, backwards, repeat songs, and more. 1. Tap this icon to play music. 2. Tap this to pause it. 3. Tap this icon to play the next song; press and hold it for seconds to fast‐forward within the song. 4.

To enter video capturing menu directly, you can open Camcorder application by pressing Home>Applications> Camcorder. Then you can do the operations as described in “Video Mode” in “Camera” chapter. Camera Camera basics You can take photos with your camera, and the photos will be stored in the T‐card by default. Ensure that you plug Micro SD card into the smart phone. To open the camera in photo mode and take photos, press HOME>Applications> Camera.

Review screen After capturing a photo or video, the Review screen will display the photo or the starting image of the video that you have just captured. You can tap the onscreen buttons to delete the photo or video, view it in the Gallery application, or share it.
Sound Recorder is useful for recording quick thoughts. You can also record your voice and set it as a ringtone. You need to have a micro SD card installed on your phone to use Sound Recorder. Recording your voice 1. Press HOME> Applications >Sound Recorder. 2. Hold the device's microphone near your mouth. 3. Tap to start recording a voice clip. “Recording” appears when it is recording a voice clip. Tap to stop recording. It will appear “Saving record success” which indicates finishing the recording.
