The keypad MiniUSB-adaptor (included) Connect the AC adaptor to the TREX2G with the MiniUSB adaptor. If TREX2G is powered on when connecting the mains charger, the Battery charging pop up screen appears. Power off Press B1 for 3 seconds (remove USB cable before power off). General functions TREX 2G first setup Power on Press B1 and hold for 3 seconds. After start up, the home screen is displayed. • Navigate up and down in the menus by pressing B1 and B2. • The present value is highlighted in blue. • Confirm/enter/select a value/setting by pressing B3.

Transmitters Adding a transmitter Example: adding an ATOM, used in Room 1. After confirming date/time, the current date/time is displayed. Go to Programming > Add transmitter. A popup window appears, asking for activation of the transmitter. TREX2G User manual NE41 11005-02 v1.
Activate the transmitter. When a transmitter is received, the TREX2G displays the Add transmitter screen. Scroll down to the four digit field just below and enter the number 1 in the rightmost position. Saving is confirmed. Confirm selection by pressing B3. Select Save to confirm the transmitter settings or Cancel to discard. The transmitter is saved. Erase a transmitter Go to Programming > Erase transmitter. TREX2G User manual NE41 11005-02 v1.
Select transmitter and press B3. Select B3 to delete (or B2 to cancel). TREX 2G beeps and a popup window appears displaying the alarm. The transmitter is erased.
Press B3 to acknowledge the alarm and close the popup screen. To look at the alarm again, enter Alarm list. Select the alarm and press B3. The alarms are sorted as newest alarms first. Press B1/B2 or B3 to return to the Alarm list. It is not possible to delete alarms from the alarmlist! Multiple alarms Normal mode If two or more alarms are received at the same time, the displays shows how many new alarms is received.
As long as the alarms are not acknowledged TREX2G alerts with sound and vibratation. To silence, press B2. The alarm popup remains on the screen. Press B3 to display the first/oldest latest alarm in the list, indicated by the 1(3) (I.e. the first/oldest alarm of a total of three new alarms) in the bottom. To acknowledge the alarms in consecutive order, keep pressing B3.
The letter symbol in the status bar indicates there are new, unhandled alarms in the list. Vibration Assistance alarm Backlight Press and hold the B4 for 3 seconds to send an assistance alarm (default is emergency alarm)to all other TREX 2Gs in the system. When it has been sent, the pop up screen below appears. Enable or disable vibration in Main menu > Preferences > Vibration.
Troubleshooting Frequency Select what frequency the TREX2G should operate in. Q: The TREX2G does not start A: Is the battery fully charged? A: Is the TREX2G connected via USB to a computer? If yes, disconnect and try again.
