i9BTTroubleshooting



ConnectingBluetooth:FirstpleasemakesurethatthephonehasBluetoothturnedonand

enabledfromtheBluetoothsettingsmenu.InordertoconnectthisheadsettoyourBluetooth

enableddevice,pleasepowerontheheadset.Pressandholdthe“MFB”Buttonuntilthe

BluetoothLEDlightsblinkgreenandredbackandforthrapidly.Atthispoint,gointoyour

phone’sBluetoothmenuandsearchorscanforavailabledevices.Onceyoufindthei9BTin

yourBluetoothdevicemenu,selectit.YourphonemayaskforaBluetoothpairingcodeor

password.Thedefaultpasswordis“0000”.



Issueswithreconnectinganalreadypaireddevice:Ifyouexperienceissuesrepairinga

devicewhichwaspreviouslypairedwiththei9BT,pleasefirstdeletebyselecting“forgetthis

device”inyourBluetoothmenu.Oncetheheadsetisdeleted,checktoseeifthereareany

pendingiOSUpdates(foriPhoneUsers)orSoftwareUpdates(forAndroid)onyourphone.For

instructionsonhowtodothis,pleaserefertothemanufacturer'sinstructionsforyourspecific

phone.Iftherearependingupdates,pleaseinstallthemandrestartyourphone.Thenfollow

theBluetoothpairinginstructions,andreconnectyourdevicetotheheadset.



BluetoothLosesConnectionOften:MostBluetoothconnectionissuesarecreatedby

interferencewithotherwirelessdevices.InordertominimizeanyinterferenceavoidWiFi

routersand3.0USBPorts.Also,ifmultipledeviceshavebeenpairedtotheheadset,youmay

needtodisableorunpairdevicesthatarenotcurrentlyconnectedtotheheadset.



SoundDistortionwhenusingtheAUXcable:Thecablesandconnectorsincludedwiththe

i9BTaregoldplatedinordertoprovidethehigheststandardinconductivity;providingthemost

crisp,clear,anticorrosiveconnectiontoyourdevice.Itisrecommendedwhenthese

accessoriesarenotinuse,tostorethemintheincludedhardprotectivecase.Iftheconnectors

arescratchedorbentinanyway,itcanaffectthesoundqualityand/orcausesounddistortion.








