FIREFLY Device, Model N1 Use Instructions:

1. To turn the FIREFLY Device on, simply pull on the strap attached to the magnetic pin in the

device until the pin is completely out.!"

2. To turn the FIREFLY Device oﬀ, push the magnetic pin back into the small opening on the

side of the device. "

Note that devices conﬁgured to operate as a “tags” are designed to be worn by the user.

Devices conﬁgured to operate as “anchors” are designed to serve as a hand-held or wearable

reference points. "

FIREFLY Device, Model N1 Charging Instructions:

1. Place a FIREFLY Device on a charging pad, with the NAMATAD logo side up. The smaller

LED will illuminate orange to indicate that the device is charging. "

FIREFLY Device, Model N1 LED Lights:

There are two status-indicating LEDs on each FIREFLY Device which can be seen through the

small window on the front of the device. When no LEDs are on, the device is powered oﬀ.!"

Charging LED:

The charging LED is the smaller of the two and illuminates orange when the device is being

charged on a charging pad. "

Operational Status LED: "

The larger LED indicates the operational status of the device. The following is a description of

potential illuminated colors and their corresponding status:"

Red — Device is on but not initialized"

Green — Device is on and fully operational"

Blue — Bluetooth is operational"
