1 Regulatory Certification FCC ID: QPU8000 IC ID: 4523A-SN8000 ETSI: Compliant to standards EN 300 328 and EN 301 489 1.1 Regulatory Information 1.1.1 FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION FCC Modular Approval (MA) has been granted for the SN8000 and SN8000UFL modules. For the SN8000 module, the on-board antenna has been qualified and approved for use under the MA certification.
1.1.2 INDUSTRY CANADA This Class B digital apparatus complies with Canadian ICES-003. Cet appareil numérique de la classe B est conforme à la norme NMB-003 du Canada. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the device.
1.1.3 OEM RESPONSIBILITY FOR FCC AND IC COMPLIANCE For OEM products that incorporate this device, the manufacturer must include certain text in their product user’s guide along with other applicable regulatory information. For an intentional or unintentional radiator, the OEM product guide should caution that changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
1.1.4 OEM PRODUCT LABELING REQUIREMENTS The SN8000 and SN8000UFL modules factory labeled with the proper regulatory certification information including the FCC ID and the Industry Canada ID. The OEM should display a label referring to the enclosed module inside the end product.
