Hurricane Impact Frame
ODL’s patented frame design, which is
mechanically fastened in the corners to prevent
ex, adds strength to the door. With a classic
frame prole, the narrow aluminum extrusion
adds strength.

MMI DOOR Severe Weather Entry Units
Our Severe Weather Entry Unit is approved for use in a range of entrance
systems to meet Florida and Texas wind-borne requirements in areas where
wind speeds can exceed 140 mph. Our Impact Glass meets DP±47 wind and
missile impact code requirements to the WBDR areas (Wind-Borne Debris
Region). The laminated glass construction suppresses noise with a sound
transmission class (STC Value) of 36.
Florida Non-Impact Region
No shutters required.
Designated areas where the basic
wind speed is 140mph or greater.
