Quickstart Guide for Pairing to Wi-Fi - iPhones & iPads
Step 1: Download the “MiniGadgets” application from the
app store.
You can visit www.minigadgets.com/mgiOS on your phone or
tablet, or you can scan the QR code to the right.
Step 2: Power your device on and wait 60 seconds for it to begin broadcasting its
Wi-Fi signal. On your iPhone or iPad, go to your Settings, select Wi-Fi, and tap on the
Wi-Fi signal that starts with MIG to connect to it. Wait for the Wi-Fi bars to appear in
the top right corner of your phone before proceeding to the next step.
(If a message appears asking if you want to use cellular data, choose
the option that says ‘Keep Trying Wi-Fi’.)
Step 3: Open the MiniGadgets app. If the application asks for you to allow any
permissions when you open it, make sure to allow everything it is asking for.
Step 4: Press the + icon at the bottom of the screen and choose the option that
says ‘Add by LAN’. If the app asks for permission to connect to devices on your local
network, make sure to press ‘OK’ to allow this.
(If after doing this it says 0 devices found, press the ‘Refresh’ button in the app)
Step 5: The app should say ‘1 devices found’. Tap on the long string of numbers

Choose the network for wherever you will be keeping the camera and then enter the
password for that Wi-Fi network. Press the ‘Next’ button afterwards.
Step 8: A progress circle will appear and say ‘In the connection...’ above. Once the
camera is successfully paired to the router, the circle will have a green checkmark
and say ‘Connection is successful’. Return to the main page and your camera should
be ‘Online’. You can now remotely view the camera from anywhere by opening the
application and tapping on the camera to enter the livestream.
(If you are in an area with poor cellular service, try connecting to a Wi-Fi network if
you are having issues with the livestream’s capabilities)
