CERTIFICATE OF HEPA PERFORMANCE
Under contract with Milwaukee tools Inc., LMS Technologies tested HEPA-VAC unit Model number
8960-20 with Fleece Bag Model number 49-90-1955, Main Filter Model number 49-90-1953 and
HEPA Filter Model number 49-90-1952 for HEPA Performance.
To qualify as a HEPA system, a unit must capture and retain 99.97% of all contaminants down to 0.3
microns in particle size. The Milwaukee stand-alone unit showed an efficiency of 99.998% in the <0.3
micron particle size range and larger which qualifies as a HEPA system. The efficiency was confirmed
by testing the system based on British Standard 3928r14 using Sodium Flame Photometer and data
matched the particle counters data.
