This Device accepts input of a 24V DC power adapter, which is provided in the original packaging of this device. This Device can be powered via a DC jack or
using a PoE injector (Provided in the packaging).
First steps:
Open the cover and insert the SIM card. For the wAP R ac model, install your modem into miniPCIe slot.
To install the modem, remove the screw located under the cover and split the case apart.
Connect the device to the power source.
Open network connections on your PC, search for MikroTik wireless network, and connect to it.
Open the web browser, go tohttps://192.168.88.1to start the configuration.
User name: adminand there is no password by default.
Update the device by clicking the Check for updates on the right side and updating your RouterOS software to the latest version. Must have a valid SIM card
inserted.
To manually update the device, please go to https://mikrotik.com/download
Choose (ARM) packages for this device and download them to your PC.
Upload downloaded packages to the (WebFig) (Files) menu and reboot the device.
Updatingyour RouterOS software to the latest version will ensure the best performance, stability, and security updates.
In the (QuickSet) menu set up the following: Choose your country, to apply country regulation settings.
Set up your wireless network password in the left field.
Set up your router password in the bottom field.
