Drainage
The drainage trap must not be lo-
cated higher than the drain-hose
connection point on the steam oven.
This is to ensure that water can drain
out completely.
The top end of the plastic hose must
not be higher than 19 11/16”
(500 mm) where it connects to the
trap.
The plastic hose supplied is 9' 10"
(3.0m) long.
We recommend only using the origi-
nal hose from Miele.
The plastic hose supplied must not
be shortened.
The drain hose can be connected to:
- a surface-mounted or flush-mounted
trap with a fixed hose connection, or
- the connection point on a sink
drainage trap
The temperature of the drainage water
is 160°F (70°C).
Attaching the plastic hose to the
steam oven
Make sure that the plastic hose is
not kinked or damaged.
Plug the plastic hose onto the waste
water connection on the steam oven.
Then secure the plastic hose with the
hose clip.
Connecting the water drainage sys-
tem
Connect the plastic hose to the trap
using the hose sleeve.
Then secure the plastic hose with the
hose clip.
