Turning overhead lighting
on/off
The overhead lighting can be turned on
and off separat
ely from the fan.
 Tap the lighting button .
Power management
The ventilation hood features a power
management syst
em for switching off
the lighting and reducing the fan power
setting automatically.
– If the intensive setting is selected, the
fan auto
matically switches to level 3
after 5 minutes.
– If the fan is set to level 3, 2 or 1, it
switches to the ne
xt-highest fan set‐
ting after 2 hours and then in 30-mi‐
nute intervals until the fan eventually
switches off.
– If the cooktop lighting is on, it auto‐
matically turns off aft
er 12 hours.
Turning power management on/off
 Turn off the fan and the lighting.
 Press the delayed shut down button

for approx. 10 seconds until 1
lights up in the fan power display.
 Next, tap the following buttons in
succession:
– The lighting button ,
– Followed by the 1 button and then
– The lighting button  again.
If power management is turned on, the
1 and IS indicators will be con
tinuously
lit.
If it is switched off, 1 and IS will flash.
 Tap 1 to turn off the power manage‐
ment.
The 1 and IS indicato
rs will flash.
 Touch IS to turn it on.
The 1 and IS indicato
rs are constantly
lit.
 Confirm the setting by pressing the
delayed shut down butt
on .
All the indicator lights will go out.
If the setting is not confirmed within 4
minut
es, the hood automatically reverts
to the old setting.
