Regular cleaning and care of the heater plate is essential for ensuring
consistent ironing results, as well as for protecting the roller motors
and padding. Without regular care, the ironer's performance will be
significantly reduced.
The heater plate can become rough due to limescale, detergent and
starch residue deposits. This means that the laundry cannot be
passed easily through the ironer. In addition, increased friction leads
to greater wear on the drive elements and the roller padding. To pre-
vent this, the heater plate must be cleaned and waxed at regular in-
tervals.
