Inserite la radio nell’alloggiamento del caricatore con la tastiera rivolta verso di voi. Il LED (rosso) del caricatore indica che la carica è in corso. Una ricarica completa, tramite il caricatore lento richiede circa 10 ore; 2 ore se invece si utilizza il caricatore rapido opzionale modello RC05.

Ruotate la manopola ON/OFF/VOL in senso orario: la radio effettuerà un’ autodiagnosi ed emetterà un beep per indicare la sua operatività. 2. Il display mostrerà le funzioni programmate Regolazione del Volume Ad apparato acceso, ruotate in senso orario la manopola di accensione per incrementare il volume, in senso antiorario per diminuirlo.

20-07-2001 16:33 Pagina 7 Ricezione Il vostro ALAN HP 446 extrá può operare in 2 modalità a seconda delle esigenze: • TRAFFICO APERTO: per ascoltare tutte le comunicazioni trasmesse sul canale selezionato. Il LED di stato s’illuminerà in verde e sentirete il messaggio. • GROUP MODE - CTCSS/DCS (Continuous Tone Code Squelch SystemDigital Coded Squelch): sono “toni di accesso” che vi permettono di ricevere solamente chiamate da altri interlocutori sintonizzati sullo stesso canale e con lo stesso codice.

HP446 rev.1 - Ita 20-07-2001 16:33 Pagina 8 TOT (Time Out Timer) Questa funzione serve per impostare la durata massima delle conversazioni consentendo un uso ottimale del canale radio e una riduzione del consumo del pacco batteria. • Abilitazione: il vostro gestore, in fase di programmazione, può abilitare tale funzione. Quando il TOT è abilitato, il vostro ALAN HP 446 extrá passerà automaticamente dalla modalità di conversazione (TX) a quella di ricezione (RX).

HP446 rev.1 - Ita Precauzioni e Manutenzione Pacchi Batteria Vi raccomandiamo di impostare la sensibilità sul livello basso, in quanto un valore troppo elevato potrebbe causare trasmissioni indesiderate, specialmente in ambienti molto rumorosi. NOTA: Quando il VOX è in funzione, il PTT è disabilitato. Per disabilitare il VOX, ripetere la procedura 1 e 2.

Gently slide the clip from top to bottom into the appropriate guides located on the back of the transceiver until it locks. 5. socket located on the charger base.Plug the AC adaptor into an AC power outlet. Switch the transceiver off. Insert the radio, with the keypad towards you, into the charger-base. The status led of the charger turns red indicating that the charging process is on.

The radio will run a rapid autotest at the end of which an audible “tone” will indicate that the radio is operational. 2. The display will show the current operating mode. 3. The current operating mode will be saved automatically within 0.5 seconds of any change made by the user. 4. Note: The following icons will be displayed depending on the operating mode.

PRIVACY Your ALAN HP 446 extrá with its 50 CTCSS tone sets and 104 DCS tones, provides privacy between users co-existing on the same frequency but using different CTCSS/DCS tones. 2. GROUP CALL CTCSS and DCS may be used also to address “group call” to users with the same CTCSS/DCS code.

Select the channel. Press CALL and MON buttons simultaneously, the "•" icon will appear or disappear. This protects against accidental button pushes. 2. To start scan hold CALL button and press the Note: When the radio is locked only the PTT and MON buttons are enabled.

2 1 Pour enlever l’agrafe ceinture: 1. Appuyez sur le petit levier en plastique placé sur le sommet de l’agrafe ceinture. 2. Glissez juste doucement l’agrafe ceinture vers l’antenne jusqu’à ce qu’il sorte de l’émetteur-récepteur. Ne surchargé pas le pack batterie. S’il est possible chargez le pack batterie seulement quand il est complètement déchargé ou quand il a été utilisé pendant une période de temps considérable, le fait de recharger partiellement les pack batteries déchargés aura des effets mémoire.

DISCRETION Votre ALAN HP 446 extrá avec les 50 tons CTCSS sélectionne et 104 DCS tons, permets discrétion parmi les utilisateurs qui se trouvent sur la même fréquence mais qui utilisent des différents tons CTCSS/DCS. 2. APPEL DE GROUPE CTCSS et DCS peuvent être utilisés aussi pour adresser des “appel de groupe” à des autres utilisateurs qui ont le même code CTCSS/DCS.

La capacidad de la batería se reducirá progresivamente tras superar aproximadamente los 2/3 de su vida útil. • Las baterías recargables pierden con el tiempo, si no se usan, su carga (auto descarga); esto es normal. Una batería de Ni-MH (Níquel Metal Hidruro) puede reducir su energía almacenada en un 10 o un 20% en pocos días.
